Yes. They include all tee shots, not on par threes, and include all shots regardless if driver, 3 wood, hybrid, or iron were used. Measurable drives must be in the short grass.

Averages are not indicative of how far someone can hit.

Tour average is determined on a predetermined set of holes each tournament.

You did with your first two statements. Your keep it in play drive goes 315 and your best ball tourney drive goes 345. The op asking the question said averages too.

Also, since you don't know how the PGA keeps driver distance stats, they take take two drives per round going in opposite directions and score the drive regardless of whether it winds up in the fairway or not. Driving accuracy is a totally different stat.

That's right. I'm thinking of the newer total driving performance stat. PGA selects 2 holes. What if a player uses 3 wood on both? PGA claims a season of stats evens it out. Still, the average is always well below the ability.

Neither of my first two statements said I average 315. When I hit a good drive, 50% of the time, it will be about 315.

Best golfer I've ever played with was CH3. I wasn't in his foursome, but one behind. Not known as a long ball hitter, but he smokes it still.

Bull****. you implied specifically you hit it 315, it just doesn't always wind up in the fairway.

If I hit it straight I always hit it over 300. I drove it into the greenside bunker on 18 at River Islands playing 367. It's all downhill.

I'd love to meet you somewhere and show you. You game?

A guy I used to work with claimed he could hit his driver 360 & PW 175, we had a company scramble, he never hit his driver past the 200yd mark.

Bought the RBZ driver and 3 wood. Not sold on driver yet, but the 3 is damn long. First time with the white heads. Thought i'd hate it, but actually like it. Also the sound doesn't bother me. If I could just get passed the damn name.

I hit the tour model in that RBZ and the new Cleveland 310 Classic. Both long. Setup on the cleveland is unbelievably like my old wood model pings. That RBZ is a hammer, but the Cleveland has some serious hang.

My knock against TaylorMade has always been their stuff tends set toe-in at address. I'm a hooker by trade. The Tour models don't and I love the 3 wood. Just have yet to find the feel with the driver. Of course that's not exclusive to this particular driver. As for the Cleveland I've never hit them. I have a buddy who bought one at the beach and loves it. I haven't seen it or seen him hit it.

I wouldn't mind a little extra hang. I'm historically a low ball hitter, but the new equipment and balls have changed my ballflight drastically the last ten years.

Urban Meyer and his daughter were out following my friend on tour today. And the one day I didn't wear my Tennessee hat!

I have to be one of the most inconsistent golfers ever. I'll shoot an 87 one day, then 3 days later shoot 113 on the same course. I'll be playing well then all the sudden I'll get what my friend calls "the shanks" and it's like I'm a beginner again and I can't fix it. It's embarrassing. I'm loving my new Mizuno MX25 irons when I'm not shanking it.

The high 80's is a really good round for me.
