I need some help deciding on come clubs. I am fairly new to golf but would like to get me some new irons.Would like to stay under $400. Any suggestions?

go to play it again sports, and look around
Calloway's, Taylor Made, or Pings...

You should find some nice options for less than $400.00

I don't know the stores, but the advice on used clubs is solid. Every big name golf manufacturer makes good irons, and has for several years. Every big name golf manufacturer sells new irons for significantly above $400. So get some used from a name brand and you'll be fine.

Has anyone played with the Adams Idea A2 Hybrid 3-PW Irons? I found them for $199.00 new. ALso what about the Wilson Ci6 irons? ALso found those for $199.00. Found those at rockbuttomgolf.com if anyone wants to take a look and point out a good set. THanks

Played today, went 48 :)sick:) / 37 :)rock2:.) We started on the back, so that is actually, I think, my best ever score on the front by a stroke.

It sure would be nice to put 18 good ones together.

Thank you. I've started keeping some basic stats, and they are pretty telling. 1 fairway hit on the first nine, 48. One fairway missed on the 2nd, 37 (and I double bogeyed the one I missed.) The game seems to be a lot easier from the short grass.

Well, I'm off to watch the Ladies Club Championship final match. The Mrs. is setting a very high standard for the Cotton family on the links.
