I tried BKs new one the other day. Pretty good. Better than my recent Popeyes experiences. Hardees new chicken is the best of the "newer" ones I've had. Crispy and juicy. McDonald's new one doesn't hold a candle to either of those that I've tried.

I really like the Popeyes one. But the Bk one is my favorite so far. I do want to try the one Zaxbys put out recently.

I had the spicy. They didn't hold back on spicy sauce either lol.

Full disclosure I've only had it on a biscuit. But I assume its the same chicken they use on the sandwich. The biscuit is damn good though.

Just depends on how fresh it is when you get it. If you get an old one its like eating cardboard. I've had it 3 or 4 times and only once gotten a fresh one. Try the BK one it honestly blows it away.

You’re lucky if they are slow.
Last two times I went they were closed because of lack of staff.

I don’t have a reason to go to Memphis any more, but I still have a love-hate relationship with the Popeye’s on Poplar.

I don’t know if I have ever encountered a business of any type so badly managed as that one.

I’ve tried Zax and Popeyes.

As far as ranking goes, Chick Fil A is still king for me. Popeyes would be #2 and Zax #3. I would like to try KFC next.

Chick-FIL-a is #1. No one else is really close. They use regular chicken you’d buy at the store for their sandwiches. Not sure anyone else does. Everyone else seems to use some sort of processed something.

Zaxby sandwich has Zax sauce on both top and bottom bun. Kinda of overwhelming. Might want to special order and hold the sauce on one bun
