Whether Durant wins his 1st ring or not, I'm still not going to respect him nor will a lot of people in this world. He's had it easy all season.

Main thing for me is that I didn't learn much new about Durant through this. He was too 2-3 in the NBA for me, still is. We knew he was a killer, knew he was greatly improved on D. And it's showing.

Terrible excuse for a leader though. That's why he'll never be mentioned with Kobe, Jordan, Johnson, and the other all time greats. They didn't join super teams to win a ring.

Not going to fault a guy for leaving Oklahoma City to go to the Bay Area and he totally balled out.

The only ones who will not respect him are idiots who know next to nothing about basketball. Congratulations on being in that group.

You say KD had it easy and you have Leflop as your avatar. James is almost guaranteed a finals every year because the East is extremely weak. He had a cake walk in the playoffs.

Lmao cause the Warriors had it soooo hard getting to the playoffs in the West with 4 All Stars? Lebron didn't join an team that was already set to win the NBA Title. The fact that both the Warriors and the Cavaliers will have it easy the next 4-5 years until the NBA makes some sort of rule change. But don't act like the Warriors had to go through hell to get where they're at now. That's stupid.

There's no reason to disparage either guy. They are both incredible. They are both guys for kids to look up to, it's easy to be critical of KD, but I don't buy into that narrative. I certainly would like him to be at OKC just to level the playing field a little bit. It is what it is, I just hope this means this will be a long rivalry. Hell, I hope Cleveland didn't shake their hands tonight's just for entertainment purposes.

The series probably should've gone 7. The Cavs blew game 3. Kerr is better than Lee, LeBron is better than KD, KYRIE is better than Steph, Klay, Draymond and the other supporting cast were the difference.
