That third down call by Chaney...

I started screaming "Helluva play Chaney" when he called that play. It was definitely a clutch play.
My comment had more expletives but was definitely positive about Chaney. Passing was obviously stupid so I knew that wasn't happening. We had already seen that handing off right was out of the question due to JGs hand injury. Obviously Kentucky knew this because they were stacking the box to JGs left. My preference was for JG to take the snap and fall to the ground and put it in the defenses hands. I know ... really conservative but I was just waiting for anything to happen to screw us out of this game. Then Chaney's call happened. Man ... that felt really good!

It was a great call. I’ll admit I was setting myself up for a heartbreaker if we had to punt it back to them. Maybe Ol Phil paid a visit to the witch doctor recently and gave him the ok to release the spell.

Isn't it nice to have a QB that can make plays with his feet, it puts the Offense into a totally different dimension

Really good series of calls there....He set up the boot that iced the game with the first two runs out of the same set....

Chaney has 2-3 really well designed plays per game. He has a way to mix old school with fresh thoughts as well which is nice to see. It's been said by pendants that we really highlights each players strong suits and I think he is the only reason we have been able to make this 4 QB carousel work.

"That was an ill-advised trick play that put the lead in jeopardy and could have cost UT the game". -B. Jones; CFB Analyst

Love that play call. And JG showed some awareness and grit as well. That being said, I was a bit surprised that Pruitt went with JG instead of BM in that situation. If you're going to be running and handing off and I'd rather have a guy with a good hand better wheels. But, I guess Pruitt went with the experience factor and it worked.
