I don’t disagree with you, these are just factors a coach has to consider.I’d still rather force that KY offense to put it in the end zone than let a FG beat us. They seemed to be able to move the ball effectvely on us, especially early and then again late when we were worn down. I wouldn’t have had great confidence in us keeping them from at least getting a chance at a game winning FG.
Did you see Maurer fumble the snap his only play of the 2nd half? That probably had something to do with it.Love that play call. And JG showed some awareness and grit as well. That being said, I was a bit surprised that Pruitt went with JG instead of BM in that situation. If you're going to be running and handing off and I'd rather have a guy with a good hand better wheels. But, I guess Pruitt went with the experience factor and it worked.
