That Shouldve been a win

The fact of the matter was that we were in position to win but our O-line can't stand up when Bama has no fear of the run. But being within one position to win whether on D or O is the coaches job against a team like Bama. Better execution by the O-line and we might drive for the win.

I like the direction of this team. This loss does not hurt as bad as some others because they fought as hard as they could and came up short. The only criticism coaching wise was the fact that Medley in games can't hit FGs from 30+...I thought we had more of a chance to convert 4th and 10 instead of attempting a 51 harder. But other then that Butch had us in a position to win and the O-line couldn't execute the final drive. It was a freshman that got beat on that last sack. Other then that drive they played extremely well.

If anyone whose a fan doesn't feel pride in this loss is a bum. Those kids fought hard and almost won in a game where they shouldn't have. I like the direction, keep improving finish 8-4 and it'll be a successful year in my eyes. Considering our tough first half of the season 3-4 isn't all that bad, disappointing for sure considering we could have been 6-1 but this young team is getting better week by week. I saw even more improvement even from the Georgia game into this one. I thought we played a better game actually then the Georgia game.

yes we are better, but a loss is a loss, dont look into the future, its a week by week process, and this game was ours

and who said im not standing by my team? i love these boys, we left 9 points on the board and offense and defense and coaches played a great game

I hope your drunk or high or something and this isn't your coherent thoughts?

Did you miss the 3 sure interceptions dropped by bama? Bama ran for more yards and passed for more yards. We were very fortunate to be in that game at the end.

As a fan, it sure beat the hell out of being curb stomped!

4th and 16 at the 25
a couple seconds left in the half at the 33
4th and 10 at the 33

if you go for it in any of those scenarios, you probably won't be calling the shots much longer

Are you serious? There's college coaches that go for it in that situation every Saturday.
