Let's face it, Ainge choked big time during the entire game.

Cutcliffe got outcoached once again by sticking with the 3 yard passes. The whole world knew Cut wasn't going to call a pass play down the field. And the one time he did call one, they throw it to a receiver nobody has even heard of!

Cut was very creative opening the game, and then reverted right back to the conservative game we have all come to know and love.

WR drops and missed field goals certainly hurt, the the reason we lost the game is simple - - - Ainge.

I blame CPF for tolerating Cut's conservative play calling. Hell, maybe CPF is making him do it. If so, then I blame CPF. If Cut is doing this, then Cut can go to Duke.

This wasn't Phil's fault and anyone that says so is a complete idiot. He had the team ready. They came in fired up. We played down at times, mostly on offense. This wasn't against a D2 defense, either. Ainge sucked period. Overthrows, underthrows, wrong reads, broken plays. Cutcliffe wasn't at his best, but he did have a decent gameplan. We ran the G-Gun, option, spread, power, etc. It was execution and some guys just didn't show up.

The only reason we lost this game is Ainge...period. You can argue the 4th down call but if executed better by both Ainge and the WR it was a completion. Fulmer cant win, within this post you have comments of too conservative in a game where we played 3 different QBs and the G Gun was very effective and then is balsted for going for it on 4th down to try and win the game. Bottom line without the 2 picks we win.

Then maybe you need to see a doctor about that. I love the Vols just as much as anyone, but it's just a game. Grow up.

Ainge should publicly apologize to Vol fans, the defense, and every other person who's every other person who has ever worn the color orange or lived in the State of Tennessee. That was the worst, most pathetic, most God awful performance I've ever seen. I've never seen one player single handidly torpedo an entire team in my whole life. Good riddance. I hope Ainge does us all a favor and jumps in front of a moving train. Thank the lord I don't have to wantch that reject discrace our team for another season.

Oh, and as for Phil. I hope he has a heart attack, 'cause he ain't getting fired. I bet he gets a big fat raise and a 10 years extension. The only reason why we were in a position for Ainge to blow the game is because of Phil's typical b.s. conservative (we've got a 1 point lead so lets not try to score ever again) offense. How many games this year have we blown a lead because we don't try to keep scoring after we get a lead. Just wait boys... we've got a whole nother season of watching, complaining, yelling, shouting, and being dissapointed due to Phil and his washed up coaching. One more year of watching such talent and heart being flushed down the toilet. It was time for change, it is time for change, nothing's going to change but the needle on Phil's scale, as it gradually approaches 400 pounds of suck.
your comment about Phil is pathetic as hell, you hope he has a heart attack. That's pretty lame and childish.

Don't blame Fulmer for this folks. Look at EVERY offensive series in the first half EXCEPT the first one. NOW who do you blame? LSU was beaten, battered, and whipped.....and we couldn't put them away. Ainge flat ******G choked!!

Shouldn't some of the blame be placed with the receivers?

I've been lurking here all year but rarely see anything negative about our mediocre receivers. I mean come on we are forced to the short passes. How hard is it really to predict that and get a pick?

If Moore catches the pass, it is an easy first down and we may score a TD. If we try the FG, even if we hit it, we still have to score a TD and there is no guarantee that LSU doesn't score and put it away.

Do you ever notice every time we lose this is the case. Its time for Cut to move on. I'm willing to bet that Fulmer called for the G-Gun thats not Cut's style.

Give me a break. That is a stretch. Ainge blew the game. The gameplan was solid and the rest of the team played to win. Learn more about football then come back and talk your sh$#.

Give me a break Johnny Come Lately. I've been following the Vols before you were a geam in your Daddy' eyes.

I completely agree. Ainge just didn't get the job done.

Ummm, that play was the wrong read by Ainge. He had the inside rub wide open for the first. That was supposed to be his first option. He tried to go to the man coverage on the outside and get a big play.

I am ready for a totally new style. We have the athletes and the talent, let em loose

Yeah, defend, because we ran so much of that stuff with Sanders. Fulmer is ultra conservative. Cut is who put the G-Gun into the offense as well as about 90% of the rest of the offense.

The only thing that will make this nighmare season complete is if Mizzou and WV lose and Georgia plays in the National Champtionship game.

What new style do you want? We ran just about every style tonight. Who would you have at QB to run this style? We don't have a QB that can run any exotic offenses exclusively.

Wrong. It was Phil's decision to have Ainge in the game. It is Phil's fault for not having a better QB on this team, etc., etc., etc.
take away the 2 picks and we win.
Lets see,Phil told Ainge to throw the 2 picks to lose it for us.

Yeah, it was Phil. He came in midplay and told Ainge to make the wrong reads on those plays and force throws that were never there.

Cut is the only coach that can be questioned. We lost this because of Ainge. Period.
