We are upset at Fulmer because this is the Tennessee football we have come to expect.

1ST half, show come creativity and determination grab the early first half lead.

2ND half, do your best to squat on said lead and get walked on. Offense does not score and defense allows opposing team tio get back into ballgame.

What is any different in this game than the south carolina ora ny other game this year

It is very disheartening, but I am sure no one feels as bad as Ainge. I don't know what bowl we will go to, and I am as sick about the SEC slipping through our fingers as anyone, but I will back the VOLS. Personally I go for it on 4th down too. I thought the announcers were absoultely horrible in their acclaim for lsu and miles, the refs blew a couple too, but we had our opportunities. On the positive side...Berry, Vinson, Rogan., Mayo etc. played like old time VOLS, hit you, stand over you, and watch the snot bubble come out of your nose. I f'n loved that. GO VOLS:frown:

Was it just me or was Foster dancing around like he used to instead of hitting the hole like he had been doing?
But yeah Ainge blew it, our D was knocking out players left and right.

It's somebody's fault we didn't do anything on offense in the first half.

That would be LSU's defense. See how many of there players are playing on Sunday in a couple of years. We had the game and Ainge blew it. Period.

I have a hard time blaming this on Fulmer. Sure there were questionable calls, but Ainge folded under pressure big time.

Don't blame Fulmer for this folks. Look at EVERY offensive series in the first half EXCEPT the first one. NOW who do you blame? LSU was beaten, battered, and whipped.....and we couldn't put them away. Ainge flat ******G choked!!

1997 1998

WOW! Then I guess we give him carte blanche till at least 2017 or 2018?

now you shut up

Was the question not, "what has Phil ever done?"

Are you retarded? Because EVER and LATELY are two different things.

It's pretty simple really. Who cares if he's sucked lately. That has nothing to do with EVER.

But please, continue to show ignorance by not paying attention.

I am elated that i only have to watch Ainge one more game. I do not blame Fulmer for today. We need a qb that can get out of trouble and run for some first downs. I think we all know Ainge is not capable of doing that and i saw two seventh graders this year throw it more accuratly on the run than Mr. Never Won A Big One.:furious3:

Wrong. It was Phil's decision to have Ainge in the game. It is Phil's fault for not having a better QB on this team, etc., etc., etc.

Give me a break. That is a stretch. Ainge blew the game. The gameplan was solid and the rest of the team played to win. Learn more about football then come back and talk your sh$#.

I hoped AF would come into this game and tear it up. He's just not quick or fast enough to run his run style. He'd be more effective developed to run like a fullback. If I have to put the blame on 1 Vol it's him, no running game to defend your 1 dimensional, much easier to defend... Ainge made a bad decision but he was probably under pressure to make a play because he knew AF was'nt going to be a factor. Anyway I'm sure it'll be awhile before we hear another sermon from Fostermom on how we underestimate her son's skills.

Have you forgotten about David Cutcliffe?

Or does he just continue to get a free pass because, really.....if I remember correctly, Randy Sanders was the OC in the National Championship Game so Cutcliffe hasn't really accomplished much other than putting QBs into the NFL.

Um... that was Cut's offense and his system in that game, Randy was just running it.
