Thankfully ref swallows whistle!

If he sucks then you guys may be in the same boat we are defensively considering Dylan threw for 350 yards. I know this win is huge for you guys and you dont wanna feel like you were helped in anyway but even some of your fellow fans agree you escaped a non call. Tennessee earned its win in my eyes but you were allowed a gift by the refs not calling something obvious as well. Just the way it goes sometimes. Not the first time its happened nor will it be the last.
Cool. A gift. I'll take it. You know how many gifts other teams have been given while playing the Vols? A lot. It happens. It's part of the game. Scoreboard. The end.

Thompson was chirping at the referee throughout the game and at times was full on screaming. The people sitting around me were commenting on it all night.

There comes a point where you are hurting your case. It appeared he did that early.

Dude had a delayed reaction and acted like he had been shot after getting two hand touched. Looked like a catfish that just hit the bank. It's the definition of flopping to draw a flag.

It was absolutely a flop, but I still have no idea what Danny was thinking there. I think it's possible the flop helped us and made the ref think Thompson was being ridiculous.

You're right . . . but don't blame a referee because Steve was too smart to just run the damn ball.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I just don't understand the fans who wanna act like Tenn didnt catch a major break. We both had equal opportunities in OT. Thats not being debated from my side

If you watch the "shove", it barely even qualifies as a push. It's the kind of thing that happens at the end of a lot of plays.

It feels pretty good not being on the we would have won but (insert excuse), if only the ref would have(insert excuse), or we were obviously cheated out of a win by (insert excuse) side of things

It's because it wasn't a major break and it's comical to act like it was.

Its contact on a player who is flat on his butt. That by rule is unsportsmanlike conduct. Those are the type situations that incite brawls. I guarantee your coach has or will get with him and let him know how lucky he was not to be called

There were missed calls on both sides. Don't complain on one that could've went either way. They were letting them play all game and let em play there. If you wanna be upset about something, be upset that you all couldn't get 1 first down when you needed it or allowed us to drive it from our own 15 with 1:23 left and no timeouts. We beat ya last year, we beat ya this year, and we'll beat ya next year.

Wrong. Unsportsmanlike conduct = 1st down and tenn without any timeouts with time running out. It wasn't called which = major break. People from your own fan base have admitted it. Hell this thread was started by a Tennessee fan. You sir are delusional

When you're flat on your butt and get pushed its unnecessary roughness. I was fine with him getting slung because thats football. However it was the push that put all the gamecock fans into a meltdown. That was a no call plain and simple. If it had happened to Dobbs you guys would want the call as well.

Y'all are a cocky bunch...

Enjoy the loss for the second year in a row.

When you idiots run Spurrier off you'll be right back with Vandy and Kentucky. Things are almost right in the world.

Yeah . . . No.

It's a lame ass thing to hang your hat on. Sort of like a few years ago when Alabama blocked a FG at the end of the game and people wanted a flag on Mt. Cody for taking off his helmet. Its never going to get called.

So you're saying pushing a player who is flat on his butt isnt unnecessary roughness?

You're celebrating beating SC like you beat a great top 5 team. How the mighty have fallen when little ol South Carolina has become your biggest win 2 years in a row. Let that sink in.

And there's the "oh yeah, well we're not even that good" retort. Reminds me of Gamecock fan circa 2000.

No this statement is purely based on the statements made by tenn fans all week. All the history talks and how were still just SC. Soon as you win you think you beat someone. You did last year. You didn't this year. Those of you thinking you turned the corner and have a great QB are gonna learn what Texas A&M learned. SC def truly is that bad and your team isn't as good as South Carolina made it look. I said all week that our defense was trash.

I posted something similar earlier that people needed to calm down. But you've also got to realize that Dobbs put up a bunch of yards and 20 points on Alabama in 3 quarters of work last week. People are excited to see a new dimension to the offense no matter how bad the opponent.

I think Barnett was trying to hold him up for a strip of the ball since the whistle had not blown.

Wasn't SC in the game till the end last week against top 3 Auburn?

Yeah but only because we converted 5/6 4th downs and kicked a onside kick. Auburn's defense isn't all that either though. I believe Tennessee Defense is ranked alot higher than Auburn's

Will Spurrier dump your DC in the offseason?
