This is the one like the ones my wife and I caught offshore once. They're really flat and are VICIOUS fighters for their size. The crew cleaned them, as I recall, and we took them home. They're VERY GOOD eating, I think.
There are several types of triggerfish that come up when you Google it. This is the gray triggerfish below.
I also Googled parrot fish, and their shape is somewhat similar, but parrot fish can change their sex several times a year, it says. @joevol33

At high tide, you can catch em about 100 yards down the beach about right in front of that largest group.

I caught something one year and didn't recognize it, guy told me it was a parrot fish.

I can see why, if you miss the ocean while trying to catch a wave on the beach, of course everyone will be too busy on the beach recording it and and see who can be the first one to post it. (Hope you all have a great time TFG )
