Loo0ks like she is starting today. I would have had her pitch the 7th inning last night! of course that is the reason i am not coaching and just setting around scratching my NADS!!!!!

I didn't watch the game live, my old heart just starts feeling fluky whenever a UT game(doesn't matter what sport) is being closely contested so I went outside and mowed my next door neighbors yard. She is even older than me and her hubby is older than her and bedridden. I came inside at the bottom of the 5th and checked the score. Took a long shower and caught the last two outs for the win... Happy now cause I can enjoy watching the replay. :)

With pitching, I might put a couple of others over Miss State when all is said and done, but they looked really good this weekend. At the beginning of the season I would have said OU has the best pitching depth and talent in the country, but with Jenn Rocha not available to coach them this season their pitching has struggled giving up runs. Pitching wise they might be a year away and will struggle this year in a pitching battle. Florida has great arms as well, but they also haven’t played quality competition yet.

The SEC is going to be huge grind, and I think very surprising this year. I can see the regular season champion having quite a few losses given the quality and depth.

Don't focus solely on BA for a leadoff hitter, that's important, but OBP is the more important %. Her job is to get on base anyway possible, hit,bunt, walk, HBP, fielding error, etc. Of course a base hit is better but getting on base is her job. Then she stretches the D as a threat to steal or take extra bases on a hit. She makes things happen.

Agree and I wasn't she just didn't get on base much down at Miss St. It was by far her worst three games of the season. Looking for her to rebound her getting on base is what makes our offense go cause the next three being her home a large percentage of the time.

Florida will be our toughest series this season. They can really hit their pitching has just been average thus far no where near the pitching that Miss St has shown all season. Two of their starters have been home run prone one giving up ten and the other seven. Hoping that our pitchers can avoid the walks cause were probably going to give up a few homeruns to them hope if that happens all with no one on.
I think we should hit more against their staff and will have to do so to win.
