You must be old too, like me.

I just feel like TN has too much pride and tradition to feel the need to rush the field after beating FL or Bama. That's just my opinion.

No sir, I'm only 23. Just have the same outlook as you do. We have done it before, act like it.

98 season against Florida, we not only took em down we paraded the goalposts all down Cumberland Ave. What a night!

Florida? Not a chance. They are not worth it. Beating #1 Alabama would be the only reason to consider it.

But rushing the field makes our program look small time. The University of Tennessee does not need to be looked at like that.

No, act like you've there before. If the game was in Gainesville and the Gators won they would act as though it was expected. Lets pay them in kind.

We did it when we were big time though. Those posts came down when we started our national championship season by beating Florida after a losing streak to them.

Volnation=anti-fun and if you where next to someone about to go down on the field what would you do. Jump on the and be like "NOOOOOOOOO DON'T DO IT ACT LIKE YOU BEEN THERE BEFORE, STOP HAVING FUN!!!!"

The people saying no are the people that remember what its like to win, act like you have been there before. We aren't Vanderbilt.

So, when we win, or heck, when we score, I should sit down and say, "Meh, we've done that before. It's whatever."
Sorry, but if that's how watching my team is supposed to work, I'm doing it wrong and will continue to do it wrong.

I would say no for Florida. The reasons given thus far are mostly BS. The main reason not to do it is that it is not a big enough game. If the Vols can beat Bama or Georgia to remain undefeated, then yes.

I can tell you that we were used to winning in 98 and the Florida game was the right time and place to take the field. My seats that night were section H Row 1. What a night.

Storming the field is for bad programs like Vandy. We should act like we have been there.

I don't see the problem wit storming the field. don't we want the atomosphere to be steller for all the recruits?? Ya it may not be an upset, but we haven't beaten florida is over 5 years, it's a night game, CGD will be in town, etc. After all this team has endured since 2008, i say why not relish the moment if it presents itself? It's been awhile since we've had an opportunity like this.

GBO!!

Yes to both.

Don't listen to these old men saying "act like you've been there before"

I guarantee if we win the student section, including me, will be on the field.

Now taking down the goalpost... I don't know about all that.

24 here. Storming the field after this game would be embarrassing.
