If you're sitting next to someone and they give you the slightest idea that they're about to rush the field, do us all a favor and stick your foot out.

Yes to both.

Don't listen to these old men saying "act like you've been there before"

I guarantee if we win the student section, including me, will be on the field.

Now taking down the goalpost... I don't know about all that.
just throwing in ideas

It's not about being old. It is just not a big win. The gators are not that good this year and are overrated. I think the Vols win big on Saturday. Storm the field if we upset #1 Alabama.

unless it's a #1 team, no

besides the school has to pay something like $25,000 (or if it's the 2nd time, I think $50,000) everytime the fans storm the field/court

Well, then we'll have to ration the smoothies in the training thunderdome for a week or two.

Student majority is a strong yes, and I think it needs to happen personally as well. Do it. If we win in a fashion that is deserving, eat the goalposts for all I care, but I want that student section storming Shields-Watkins like they're chasing a Bammer who stole Smokey.

storming the field is for scrub schools who dont expect to win not schools who have an established tradition of winning... does peyton go crazy every time he throws a TD? no because it is expected and should be routine

people saying they're eighteen and that they dont remember is pathetic. I'm 20 and i remember being in Neyland stadium for the Stumble and Fumble in 1998 and being in the stands for the SEC title game vs Mississippi St. You can remember. Don't storm the field. We've been here before.

do you also remember that we stormed the field in 98 after beating UF?

ftr I'm not a big fan of doing it but since it means we beat UF I wouldn't be totally against it

The student section will be on the field if we beat Florida. 20 security guards won't be able to stop thousands of drunken students celebrating UT's biggest win in at least 5 years.
