So when you are an actual alumni of UT and have a diploma you will have a vested interest in the success of the university. Until then you are on a lower tier of fandom than diploma holders.
And to answer an earlier question a diploma in and of itself does not make a fan.

Well, apparently, he only requires a diploma... so a Degree is automatically on a higher level.
Not fictional. There is a guy that posts here that's a tOSU student but a huge Tennessee fan.
What about this?
Guy attends Tennessee as a freshman, can't afford out of state tuition and graduates from Ohio State. He's sat in Tennessee's student section as a student/fan. Is he a "real" fan?
He was born in Pennsylvania I believe.
That guy is a shell shocked Vietnam veteran. I feel bad for him every time somebody interviews him.
So if your DAD pay'd for your diploma does that trump your diploma and make your dad the bigger fan. Since he seems to have the vested interest at this point.
just sayin........
To make the claim that you are more of a fan as a grad is ridiculous. I earned my BS from UTK but that doesn't make me any more of a fan than someone who hasn't IMO. To add, I earned my MBA from Alabama but I would cheer for Auburn over them anyday.Posted via VolNation Mobile
