Gee, avoiding service in Vietnam and spending your 30s in a drunken haze makes one courageous? I didn't know that. Running business after business, that your father sets you up in, into the ground makes you intelligent? Again, something I was unaware of.Well, I dont. What makes him an imbecile hat? Because thats what the media has portraid him to be? I have a ton of respect for our President, and anyone, with an unbiased mind, that would take the time to read about his life, and really look past what the media says, would find he is really an intelligent and couragous person. I dont want to make this a political thread, but I will always stand up for our President, and yes, I did when Bill Clinton was there too.
Saban's agent needs to sober up. One BCS bid will pay either of those buyouts.Per Saban's agent this morning, Saban is committed to staying with the fish. He also said there will be several changes in the next week, but probably not some of the obvious or rumor mill ones. With the contracts that most coaches at major universities have, it is tough to get rid of them.
He specifically said Miami and Alabama will struggle to change coaches this year based on the buyout amounts - both are staggering. And for Bamer to get Spurrier, would take a truckload of cash to buyout both contracts and nobody in their right mind would pay that - but then again it is Bamer being discussed....
