Well, I dont. What makes him an imbecile hat? Because thats what the media has portraid him to be? I have a ton of respect for our President, and anyone, with an unbiased mind, that would take the time to read about his life, and really look past what the media says, would find he is really an intelligent and couragous person. I dont want to make this a political thread, but I will always stand up for our President, and yes, I did when Bill Clinton was there too.

Gee, avoiding service in Vietnam and spending your 30s in a drunken haze makes one courageous? I didn't know that. Running business after business, that your father sets you up in, into the ground makes you intelligent? Again, something I was unaware of.

Per Saban's agent this morning, Saban is committed to staying with the fish. He also said there will be several changes in the next week, but probably not some of the obvious or rumor mill ones. With the contracts that most coaches at major universities have, it is tough to get rid of them.

He specifically said Miami and Alabama will struggle to change coaches this year based on the buyout amounts - both are staggering. And for Bamer to get Spurrier, would take a truckload of cash to buyout both contracts and nobody in their right mind would pay that - but then again it is Bamer being discussed....

Saban's agent needs to sober up. One BCS bid will pay either of those buyouts.

I can't believe it. I thought I would never agree with hat on anything - but lo and behold - we share common ground on presidential opinions. :salute:

even after sharing with the conference members? i know it's a lot of money...but splitting it 12 ways...it may take a couple of BCS appearances....

hat, i could argue with you all evening, and you have the right to feel the way you feel, even if i disagree with you. You will beleive what you want to beleive, no matter what the facts are so I have found, there is no sense in me trying to convince you that you are wrong. You obviously lack integrity and respect that you could sit publicly and call our President an imbecile. That bothers me, not as a conservative, but as an American. And I guess you feel we should not have "invaded" Iraq and Sudaam Hussein deserves to be set free huh?
