Shooting in El Paso

Trump has really leaned into white nationalism, and it feels like he was content to push the envelope until people rightfully freaked out about the "Send her back!" chant.

At this point, I think people who don't want to be viewed as a racist should distance themselves from Trump.

I don't think Presidents just push policy. I think they set the tone for our culture...and I think it's easy to see how hostile language from a President can bring out the crazies. White terrorism has become a real problem under Trump, and I think his language plays a role.
To be fair, you didn't at any point notice all the black riots under Obama? So by your logic, he's to blame. I mean burning towns, blocking roads, shooting cops. If trump brought out the crazy whites, then how do you not blame Obama for bringing out the crazy blacks? Fair is fair.

If that works for you fine but most people that have lots of ammo aren't actually doing it for the sake of Walking Dead standoffs. When the price is right you stock up to have for later when prices/availability may not be as favorable. If stored correctly ammo can last a long time. You have any idea how many people wished they'd had half a million rounds (or more) of cheaply purchased .22LR not that long ago?

Good enough point. I bitch about prices, but generally I just continue to pay.

It's a good thing almost no one cares what you think.

At this point, why? You’re a racist whether you support Trump or not, so why distance yourself from anything?

Question, and I apologize in advance if it’s already been asked, but I’m not going to read through 54 pages of nonsense, but after we ban all of the scary looking guns and these mass shootings keep happening at the same rate and with the same amount of devastation, which they most certainly will, what’s the plan going to be then?

Ban everything except single shot derringer-type pistols and bolt action rifles.

Become Great Britain and ban kitchen knives.

And now the U.S. tightly regulates the sale of ammonium nitrate.
I can go to Lowe's right now and get 20 bags. Then run across the street to home depot and buy 20-30 more. Then I can to the co-op and buy 40-50. Then to another co-op and then to Rural King then to Tractor Supply then to..... Bad people will find away to do bad things. Focus on the problem not the tool they use. You might actually make a difference. Chasing your tail by going after guns will accomplish nothing.
