The next play would have been 3rd and 15 had he made the sack and we could have jumped off sides on 2 consecutive plays and it would have been 3rd and 5. He was in position to make a play and didn't. Had he made the play it is very possible we go into half with a 17 point lead and we could say he made a great play.
By no means is the point you are trying to make wasted on me. It's a team effort but if our D was an 11 link chain, he was the weakest link IMO. Mayfield is slippery though.
Anyone heard anything on Kenny Bynum?started against Arkansas last year I think , RS Senior.. Is he really that bad that he can't make the 2 deep LB roster at any of the positions? GBO !
A coach like Shoop doesn't praise players to make friends.
The Jumper saga has been VN at its finest. No established depth and a first year walk on player is called into action and doesn't play at an all-American level. Gets passed by a highly recruited first year player. VN declares him trash and unworthy of wearing the orange jersey. Walk on goes back to work to earn the praises of teammates and coaches and also a scholarship. VN declares it's because of his family connections and he's still trash.
Some folks have no class!
JRM tweeted this last night:
"True successful people want to help other people be successful. Watch out for those who hate to see other people shine!!"
Not only is he a really good football player but he is really mature. Anybody who would ever want another person to not succeed is a miserable person.
