Seriously, stop tweeting players

Your problem here is "grown men".
Also the "younger generation" defines "older generation" as anyone over 18. Now the grown men you refer to, to my way of thinking, fall between 18 and 24, and seem to have little to do but sit and spew on social media.

Have seen plenty of people in their 30, 40 just as stupid on social media.

You say Brady's is all team, then turn around and say Peyton "took" 4 different coaches to the Super Bowl. So him getting to those Super Bowls wasn't a team thing? And Denver's defense last year didn't take them to the Super Bowl?

That's some strange logic you got there.

Okay, when Manning went down with an injury, the Colts went 2-14. When Brady went down, Belichik went 11-5.

Belichik went 3-1 without Brady to start this season, including 1-1 with a third-stringer.

Who made who?

Wow, never heard this argument!

Which of those Colts' QBs that year went to start for another team for 4 years, lead them to a division title, and made a Pro Bowl? Better yet, which one made another roster for more than another year, much less every sniffed a starting job?

How many of the Broncos' games were won last year without Manning starting?

Also, none of this has anything to do with the fact you just contradicted yourself. Either getting to a Super Bowl is a team thing, or it's not, you can't mix and match when it suits you.

Quinten will be the starting QB, and he likes Peyton.

Jarrett sure knows how to endear himself with Tennessee fans. Is he just stupid?

As much as fans need to stop tweeting at players, the players need to stop allowing people they don't know to follow them on twitter.

Literally the entire point of twitter is to get as many followers as possible so that when you "tweet" everyone gets to read what you are saying. That opens you up for a terrible backlash.

We do agree on some things.

It's this simple with manning vs brady. Brady had better coaches and teammates. Put peyton in bradys spot and i would bet the results would be the same or better.

If you put Manning on the Patriots roster, I'd say he has a couple more rings, himself! Brady has had the best money can buy, surrounding him his entire career!

You can't cyber bully our potential starting qb for thinking that Tom Brady who has won five superbowls is better than Peyton. Of course, I prefer Peyton. Number 16 is the only football jersey I own. But JG is from the northeast and he was probably born in 1998-1999? Maybe he's all about creating his own UT legacy.

OK....let's try this again. My OP was a joke. Everyone else seemed to get it except for you. Just take what I said and wrap it in blue font.

OK, I apologize then. There's just some ppl on this site that take things a little too far. Like harassing players and attacking anyone who doesn't share their opinion.

Let's get a few things out there:

Tweeting players is creepy and ignorant.

Tom Brady is the greatest QB of all time. It's really not even close.

It's okay to love Peyton Manning and accept the previous statement as fact.

Anyone that thinks it's okay to personally ridicule these players on social media is an idiot.

Blame Ali. Both are pretty amazing though. Give them equal supporting talent and coaching and I think you would just have to flip a coin to see who is actually better. Manning was usually trying to do more with less, but you can't fault Brady for being on the right team with the right coaching. He gets it done, period.

You aren't serious, right?

How many superstar receivers and backs did Manning have? Brady? It's not even close.

Brady had the best coach in the history of the game and Manning had mostly conservative minded coaches. That's the difference.

The Tony Basilio Show

"Speaking of Jarrett Guarantano, he sent out a tweet after the Super Bowl which has since been deleted, where he said Tom Brady was the greatest QB of all-time. A lot of folks gave this young man hell online about that comment. Look folks, I love Peyton Manning. Peyton will always be near and dear to our hearts. Guarantano will even tell you Peyton was his favorite player growing up and a big reason he signed with Tennessee, but don't slam the young man for saying Brady is the greatest. Do you really think his tweet was off-base? Brady has been to 7 Super Bowls and has 5 rings. The proof is in the pudding."

When will it end?
IN my heart Payton is the greatest QB of all time and always will be.. That being said, Brady has a resume that can't be argued against. 10 years from now anyone trying to make the argument Brady wasn't better will look a tad silly when all that is left are stats. Has he said something like Matt ryan is the greatest people would have a right to have some level of outrage. its like comparing Micheal Jackson to Prince. Magic Johnson to Micheal Jordan or Kobe to Jordan. Getting outraged about such comparisons are silly. As long as those are the guys being compared. trying to compare say Kanye to Micheal Jackson deserves a bullet to the face.

TLDR version
When people are on a certain level of greatness it comes down to a matter of taste.

So you think it's important for our starting QB to have the personal belief that no QB is better than Peyton Manning?

Maybe.

Maybe it's a better idea for all of our fans to remember their aren't special snowflakes and this is America and we shouldn't get butt hurt over anyone's personal opinion regarding anything, especially something that's as unimportant as which QB is better than another????

Hmmm? Or am I crazy???

Lol grown men berating a kid because he doesn't like their favorite player quite as much as they do.

The definition of pathetic. Grow up.

Guarantano likes Peyton more, but that doesn't mean easy isn't better.

Peyton is my favorite player of all time. I followed him to every NFL team he played for.

Guess what though? Now that both careers are finishing up I can clearly see that Tom Brady is the greatest to ever play the game. Stop being homers. Hell, if Tom Brady was a Vol I guarantee you would all agree with me.
