Serious question: is hostessgate an issue anymore?

Where his rather delicious firing was imminent.

And, as I have said all along, this was Hambone's Experiment exclusively. He had the keys and the whole playbook to the process, and he dialed up Qiffin.

:good!:

Fulmer Contact extension Dec. 2007
Kiffin fired from Raiders Oct. 2008

You are right, the timing to too coincidental.

I didn't realize Dec 2007 was the week before the 2008 USCe game. As your post clearly demonstrates, you are a bit behind in the thread. :hi:

The allegations are in the Letter of Allegations and it doesnt sound bad for football. Why is this hard to grasp for some?

Which has nothing to do with what I posted and you responded to. I know it is hard but try to keep up.

So, I have been correct all along:

Hambone's machinations were in place... as early as the contract extention. .... Kiffin was always going to be the replacement? .

Ever see a child pitch a temper tantrum because they did not get what they wanted. You are seeing the message board equivalent from gibbs and VegasVol.

The contract extention, as we've demonstrated in the past, was proof of the early machinations. It was the lubrication for the machinations, as we discussed - and confirmed - long, long ago.

I know it is hard, but please try to keep up. :hi:

Indeed. Unless I'm wrong once the letter is received no more allegations are incurred.

I believe the first stage of grief is shock and denial.

That is where you are right now. Especially given the main charge was for NCAA Eyes Only. Especially since it seems two coaches from both programs have lied to the NCAA.

Actually, I reached the Depression stage of grief when the GoF told me I had nothing to worry about.

What you are really watching are five apologists try to salvage what has been a savaging behind the woodshed. From "no allegations against football" to "Fulmer will have all of them" to "there was nothing untowards in hostessgate" ... please tell me when these guys have been right about - anything?????

My God you are a delusional human being. I used to think you were just set in your opinion and were hesitant to admit you may have been wrong, but it's become apparent that you have the coping/reasoning skills of a toddler. Perhaps it's time to seek professional help.

Yes. Delusions:

1. There will be no allegations against football program.
2. Reaves did not pay those girls.
3. All we'll receive is an angry letter.
4. Fulmer will get all the football allegations.

Yes, I see where I have distanced myself from the real world outside the backdoor. Except, I said none of these things. The boys you are defending as "steeped in reality" did. Perhaps, you too, are in shock and denial?

Of course you will have no problem producing samples of each of those from folks you refer to as the GoF.

Yes, delusional. That must be the case if you "remember" me saying any of the things above. But, nevertheless, I'm not going to try and convince you of anything. You refuse to think about things like rational human human being and, in the words of Paul Simon, "I don't find this stuff amusing anymore".

well, duh.

the single most absurd thing that a lot of people tried to give the benefit of the doubt on was that these girls went there on their own.

as if college girls take a 3 hour or so road trip to pulled pork, sc, to watch a high school football game on a friday night. i never had any doubt in my mind how this happened.

now, how serious a violation this is and what the punishment should be is something that can be argued about.

but, it was always beyond ridiculous to me that some people tried to really put forth the notion that these girls hopped in a car to pulled pork, sc, on their own dime without any direction from the staff.

Not shocked or in denial about anything bro. At this point it makes no difference that Reaves paid for the trip.

I don't think that anyone really believed that there wasn't at least indirect suggestions/pressure or perhaps even explicit requests. That is one thing. Paying for it is the huge leap, IMO. That is different than just "direction."

again, that's where common sense kicks in. i didn't doubt that occurred either.

someone asks them to make signs, drive 200 miles there, 200 miles back.....and two 21 year olds are just going to say "ok".

they are at least going to want cash to pay for the stuff to make the signs, gas money, and food money.....at the bare minimun. i don't remember if they stayed at a hotel or not, but if they did they would ask for the cash for that too.

like they are going to shell out $100 for food and gas to go to some small town in south carolina.

hell no.

I made similar drives in college when the opposite sex was involved...and I wasn't paid...in cash........

.....or any other manner, come to think about it.

There have to be 3rd parties that could make this happen that would allow for a less obvious transfer of money /AA penalty. Not that the action would be less wrong, but it seems less stupid.

It was absurd and laughable, but many of the VN "experts" all insisted it was true, to the extent of mocking anyone who pointed out it's evident absurdity. Now, they complain if anyone points out how wrong they were, even as some of them brag about how "right" they were in bashing Pearl. (See hatvol).

i assume that you are a guy. guys do that kind of thing.

girls don't. especially not for men who are broke and live with their mama.

i doubt that there is a girl who has ever driven 200 miles to visit a guy she barely knows that has no money and lives with his mama.
