"Our young guys don't have time to be young as we get to the fall, and that's been a part of the message that our leadership has applied to the young guys inside of our program. PhD? Pavia will be eligible for retirement when he graduates.

Much of this is a result of the issues staff had recruiting under the negative recruiting used by other schools during Heupel’s first 3 years but it does speak well of the last two years recruiting results & portal additions.

Yes it includes redshirts. And the sophomore is low due to redshirting and transfers.
