Dial up the speech he gave before, I believe, the Wisconsin legislature. It's a classic. Some of his anti-gay "sermons" are quality stuff, too.

AAAA...HA!

now i understand

that is every ethnic group that i can think of

He may have started to get it then, but the lesson obviously didn't take until the '83 LSU game kicked off.

Summer of '82 he really started to bust his ass in the weight room, practice, games, etc.

In your eyes the fruition didn't come till LSU, when he started looking like an All American, but he was becoming a lot better player beginning in '82.

Listen to the speech before the Wisconsin legislature and tell me who he misses with some form of idiocy. Oh, wait. That would require you to actually do some research and know what you are talking about. I'm sure that's not your style.

Wow, hadn't seen Freak vs. Hat before.

Olympian style posting at it's finest. Is Hat Hades?

Some might gather that he hated gays and lesbians.
How do you feel about Pearl today?

They're both malingerers who only played all out at UT when it was time to chase cash. Period. The rest of your post is just noise.

Funny how srs tend to start focusing on their future with/without football and really bust it to try to impress the nfl. Have you been around football much, or do you focus more on basketball?

How is an objective view of a guy's career at UT bitter? For one half of a season, he was the greatest defensive lineman in SEC history. For the rest of his career, he was a massive underachiever.

Haven't checked his stats, and I know you well enough to know that you have.

Apparently, he blossomed late, because there is no debating what he did in the NFL.

And if we only had him, at his best, for half a season...that was still a gift, right?

And I will always respect you for your blunt, no-holds-barred opinion, and honesty.

Win or lose. But I'll win.

Go Vols.

What everyone needs now obviously is a ton of negativity spewed at them from every angle. Read into some of these guys comments Volnation a little deeper. Take the time to look up these words they use when belittling our VOLS. I'd say 90%+ of the members come here to feel good about the Vols. To make them happy, and give them something to look forward to...FOOTBALL season. The rest try to piss that 90% off to no end. Funny how I used to let that kinda stuff effect me. I'm sure whether you guys would admit it or not. It has affected your day too. LOVE YA ALL anyways. Antagonist or not.

You've been here long enough to know that hat is just hat.

He does have his moments.

I don't take anything he says, positive or negative, too seriously. He's just being "hat".

Can't grill a good steak without a little pepper, right?

Go Vols.

Reggie White was a great player when he gave effort on the field. Off the field, he was essentially John Rocker with a church to hide behind.

Don't we wish...

I remember reading a story about Reggie when he was with Green Bay. Don't remember the opponent, but apparently, Reggie leveled the opposing teams' QB. Reggie gets up...sticks his hand down to help the QB up...and says "Jesus loves you, man."

The opposing QB responds "I know that, Reggie, but why do YOU hate me so much?"

To this day, I laugh about that one.

Class act. All Vol. All heart.

What we could do with a team full of "Reggie's"...

Go Vols.
Absolutely! But according to hat, Reggie's the devil

Good job. I'm glad to were able to get the translation of "Greatest defensive lineman in SEC history for half a season" into "Reggie White is Lucifer" correct.
