RUMOR: Da'rick indefintely suspended?

Sounds like at the very least suspended per Skeets and knoxville Tv.

Thanks. It's hard to tell what's real around here. Especially based on the thread titles alone. I didn't see anything on Twitter.

Since Rogers is suspended, do we now count him as a Kiffin recruit (e.g. it's not Dooley's fault)?

The way it was worded was that he was booted off the team, but it could just be an indefinite suspension.

Yeah but at what cost. One All-American=poison to the team? This is of course if the rumors are true.

This. I'd take a player who respects the coaches and the team over someone who's an All-American any day. I'm just glad we still have Justin.

If he is suspended for his attitude problems, Anti-DD is going to have all kinds of ammunition. You know, since DD cultivated that attitude problem.

No proof of that whatsoever... but I am sure that won't inhibit you for even a second. You just go right ahead and make claims about things you have no way of knowing about.... that's what really makes someone look smart and "caring" about the program.

Where did you see where Skeets posted something along these lines? Everything I've seen from Skeets is that we are all idiots, he is all-knowing, and the truth will come out shortly and we shouldn't worry...

I think they'll credit Kiffin with recruiting him now.

Either way, we know Dooley has an excuse.

Which further indicates that, if true, his issues must have been far worse than even what is being reported... You just don't kick off a potential All-American unless you absolutely have to, esp given the fact that Dooley will clearly be on the hot seat next year.

I agree with all of that. I'm not bashing Dooley for doing it; I'm just pointing that without him, Dooley's job just got even harder. I get less confidence by the day that he's going to be able to survive.

I may have misinterpreted his 2 post but they are in this thread. If so I am very sorry.

He was a Kiffin recruit anyway. How could Dooley have evaluated anything but is ability in the pressure of trying to salvage anything?

Well, I know Dooley makes no mistakes, so I figured since he was in trouble, it was Kiffin's fault. When he caught the TD against Vandy, that was all Dooley, though.

We have to keep our facts straight--and it all starts from why Dooley is never to blame for anything.

Said relax all this will work out. To paraphrase. I took that as a suspension will plenty of reason to believe DR would be back. I could have interpreted it wrong.

You took "relax it will all work out" and assumed "oh, he's suspended but will be back". How does that make sense? Those two statements aren't even close to meaning the same thing.

THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS BOARD

dr will be given time to clear his head, sorta like janzen.
cbb didnt leave because of dr. dr needs to learn how to handle some things better, he got into alot of arguments with upperclassmen this year. some of that came from the way said upperclassmen treated some of the younger players and dr would defend them. and yes sometimes dr thought he was a coach whens things were not going so well, but he wanted to win. he needs to do a much better job of attending class. sry cant get into to many details but thats the jist of a few things. i just dont have the time to explain everything.

I regret making that statement regarding who recruited hhim. I don't think Dooley tried to take credit for the Vandy TD. Think he said Bray and Rogers were in sync and gave the tandem the credit.

Most importantly, if CB did leave because of Rogers, it's not Dooley's fault. Dooley does no wrong. We get it.

oh ok. it's cool then. Janzen came back to the team

If all Da'Rick is doing is spending some time away from the team and he comes back later a little more agreeable, then I think I'll be fine with this.
