Guy had BUBBLE on the brain.

I only saw a tiny bit of the 2nd half, but those commentators were a little odd. Not in a bad way, but the things they were discussing and how they were wording everything was a little different than what you usually hear.

I'm beggining to think that regardless of whether we make the tourney we will have CCM another year.

The bottom line is this, UT at 15-8 need to win at least 5 of of their next 8 games to get to 20 wins, and then win 2 in the SEC tournament. That would put UT at 22-12 for the year I think UT gets in. Only one team has got in with 14 losses, Az in 2008.

UPCOMING GAMES TIME
5 Feb. 11 Florida 7:00 PM
49 Feb. 15 @ Missouri 4:00 PM

I think 5-3 makes sense.

And yes, I think you lose to UF this week. If you win that one, you only need to avoid collapse and things look good.

Can't afford to get swept this week, that would be a disaster. With Martin as coach I wouldn't be surprised if we beat FL and MO this week then lose to GA, TAMU and MS ST.

We'll play Fl to about a 6 point loss then get blasted by Haith. Just my gut though.

The @thebarn looks like a trap game as the boys will be looking towards Missouri at home. Any loss to them home or away would hurt pretty bad. They tend to shock a few teams from time to time.

4-4

It's there anyone more negative than you around here or do you own the title?

4-4 is absolutely worse case scenario.

There's a few that could give him a run, but to his credit he doesn't run when there's even a little success like the others do. If we go 7-1 he'll still be here, just spouting some other negative rants.

Personally I'm guessing 5-3, just because that's what this team does, nothing easy. Why go 7-1 or even 6-2 and be playing for seeding, when you can go 5-3 and keep everyone on the edge of their seat.

You do realize there's only a 1 game difference between his prediction and yours, right?? Don't see how that makes his prediction a 'negative rant', but yours a logical prediction.

I'm pretty pessimistic as well. That being said there are those that are too optimistic as well.

So what are our chances of making the tourney, iyo? 6-2 would be awesome, but 5-3 is likely. Win one game in the SEC tourney and we're in like Flynn.

Unless we lose to awfulbarn, then we'll be on or close to the bubble even with that scenario.
