Mr. Duncan, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters on this site. I totally forgot about Conway singing "Rocky Too". I remember my mom having this album when I was a kid. Well done sir.
Thank you sir and it takes me back to childhood as well. My grandma was and still is the biggest Twiitty Bird fan alive and she used to play this on he old floor model 8 track and record stereo.

I don't give a **** if outsiders (or fellow Vol fans for that matter) think badly of Rocky Top for it's country roots. Hearing it still makes my heart race whenever I hear... Rocky Top you'll always be, home sweet home to meeeeeee.

The wooo, however... that can go back wherever it came from.

My mom had the album. My grandmother was a big time Twitty Bird fan. Not going to lie, it would get a little uncomfortable to listen to her talk about Conway. Not to mention it was on the "Hello Darlin" album. That is a win-win if there ever was one.

My first concert was a Conway show back when I was 4. When she met him to get an autograph I thought she was going to faint lol.

Off topic but is anyone watching Miami/FAU game on FS1? Those Miami uniforms are just embarrassingly bad. That font...

God this song gives me chills. The Osbourne brothers version of course. This and Touchdown Tennessee are the songs my family and I listen to before every game. I love my Vol brothers and sisters. Here's to a big win tomorrow.

LOL well if you believe that then just take comfort in the fact that I have a very short life span. I just hope that when I go to paradise my 72 virgins aren't singing Rocky Top while trying to please me.

72 virgins singing Rocky Top.... needs to be a girls of the afterlife thread.

Not impressed yet. I'm still waiting on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir version. ☺
