All it would take would be for Twitter to ban conservatives again, and about 3 posters would be in here back in love with it'Elon sold out': Twitter users in meltdown over new CEO Linda Yaccarino's take on free speech - as video remerges showing she is a Pro-Mask, Pro-Vaxx Campaigner
Twitter users have slammed Elon Musk for 'selling out' after a video re-emerged showing the social media platform's new CEO campaigning for pro-mask and pro-vaccine initiatives.
Musk was forced to jump to the defense of new Twitter chief Linda Yaccarino on her first day on the job after a separate video also saw her raising the possibility of allowing advertisers to have influence over the platform's content.

Listening to a 6-part pod about the takeover of Twitter. A few claims in ep. 1 that I didn't know about:
- Musk's ex was pissed about Babylon Bee suspension and asked him to buy Twitter and take it down.
- retired Jack Dorsey called Musk and told him he thought he should be a part of Twitter and said that he tried to put him on the board but the rest of the board wouldn't have it.
- Once on the board, Musk was hurting Twitter with Tweets like "Twitter is dying" and the CEO asked him to stop and Musk flipped out and said he didn't want any part of the board.
This guy...literally anybody can ask to have their **** removed. You don't have to be somebody's niece.

Don't have a Twitter account so I don't really keep up with how it works, but are there people on here paying to get your "checkmark?" What is the value in doing that now that it's "pay to play?"

Final episode of the pod series was a bit uneventful.
- Musk had a team of coders scrambling to figure out why engagement was down on his posts. The guy who correctly informed Musk it was because he's losing popularity was fired on the spot.
- Jack Dorsey finally turned on Musk and said he lost faith in him. (And invested in another platform, so tifwiw)
- Musk caves to authoritarian governments (after saying he would uphold free speech even in the face of Russian gunpoint)
They still got you.
