I'll be coming home every night, but I'll have to go back and forth every day. We're going to ask her on Thursday if I can possibly do the treatment in my town instead of making the drive to Nashville every day.
Of course the drive is minor, but it would definitely make it better on my wife if we don't have to go to Nashville every day.
It’s a plan and I wish you all the best going through it my friendThey're going to be doing a combination of chemo and radiation treatments. I meet with the radiation oncologist on Thursday. Hopefully I'll get a better timetable then.
I start the chemo pills on the first day I start the radiation. It's going to be for 6 weeks, 5 days a week. I'll have to stay on the chemo pills for a,while after the radiation stops. One month after the radiation stops I'll have to have another MRI to see where we're at.
How does that work?? Does the doc tell you, you shouldn't be driving, or do they actually contact the DMV and say this guy shouldn't be driving? Obviously if you caused an accident, the other person's attorney would subpoena your records and eat you alive if they found out, but otherwise, do police/dmv/etc. know you aren't allowed to drive?I'm not allowed to lift more than 10 lb, and I'm still not allowed to drive. The lifting should be over in the next couple of weeks. Don't know when I'll be allowed to drive again
The driving restrictions are mainly because of some of the meds I'm on. Basically if I got pulled over I could be looking at a DUI.How does that work?? I’m sure the doctors just cautioned him not to drive because of the medications, like he stated. Highly doubt they notified the state about anything. How does that work??
