Yes, indeed. And there are some other good verses about this. Will try to look for them tomorrow. But right now am at hospital with wife (she is doing OK after hip surgery, but she is my priority right now).

Definitely food for thought here: Would Daniel 2:21 still be applicable to a country that votes their own “king” in? It’s a whole nation full of free will people who can vote whichever way they choose, so maybe in this instance our last couple of presidents were more a screw up of the people rather than God placing someone?

Maybe God gives us what we ask for sometimes to show us how much we really need Him. Interesting that throughout history, especially in Israel the morality of the people seem to mirror that of their leaders. Strange gods bring immorality and grave consequences. What did America promote and uplift the last admin?

Not sure I've ever read the Bible from front, all the way through to the end, starting at the very first word. I began this exercise a couple months ago by reading 2 chapters each morning after I wake and get ready for work. It's been very enjoyable and would recommend to anyone interested.

Some posit a mid trib rapture. Is there another time Jesus returns without setting foot on earth? Matthew 24 references the times leading up to the great tribulation with false prophets and christs and the very elect would be deceived if it were possible. Is the church raptured at some point during Matthew 24?

Feel free to discuss your religious views Three of the world religions have a common ancestor in Abraham. Judaism Christianity and Islam. There are many more religions .
I have a Christian Bibical world view and would be intersted what other people believe. Always be respectful , please. In my defense of the Biblical view, it seems to be the only faith that defines a truly equal opprtunity for all , whosoever you are, rich , poor , kings commoners to be reconciled to a loving Father God through Faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord

As we hear so many racism accusations these days I am remembering the song we sang in church sunday school .

Red and yellow black and white , they are precious in His sight , Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Seems raceism , where it actually exists , as well as false accusations , is a wedge driven skillfully by Satan.
