With playing above their talent level this year, and recruits seeing that Martin can coach, I'm expecting a decent class, with less "team fillers". This team has far exceeded my expectations this year.
well scout doesnt have us listed
if you have a scout profile theres an article from a month or so ago, when asked of school recruiting him he lists georgetown, ole miss, memphi, miss st, arkansas, and louisville.
on his recent trip to louisville he really talks about what a great time, and enviornment it was. he really hit it off with dieng, there center who i believe is also from nigeria.
TIFWIW
Calban has said (and he's been all over his recruitment) that we are still a contender.
Kingsley has not mentioned UT in his last couple interviews. Doesn't mean we are out of it, but it means we are not on his immediate radar as of now.
For 2013, I see something like this...
PG Travon Landry
SG One of DJ Bowles (a combo G), Markel Crawford, or Deshaun Munson
SF Sindarius Thornwell or Quinton Stephens
PF Austin Nichols
...and then probably a player not on our radar yet because that always seems to happen.
This is me being realistic with the thought we likely miss on Nick King, Robert Hubbs, and Jonathon Williams III. If you land one of them, it makes a solid class a really good class.

Wouldn't write Kingsley off just yet. He made the same statements about Louisville that he made about Arkansas after visiting.
Bright kid who values education above sports and wants to pursue an engineering degree.
Tennessee has a pretty good engineering program.
Brother in law graduated engineering program at TN, assistant city manager in Knoxville and built one of the water treatment plants while he was there. was city manager in Dunedin FLA for years and now has his own company.
Push TN as the program that's going to become the KY nemesis in the next few years and get him one on one with Yemi. We've still got a shot.
kid's tearing it up this year:

how many can we sign in 2012... 4? 5? so only 1 or 2 more spots open? oh yeah but CCM insinuated some people wouldn't be back.
4 or 5??? Where are you getting this?
We have 13 on scholarship that's the limit, only tatum and Woolridge leave that gives us 2. We have 2 signed next year so we have 0 left.
Someone may leave but right now we have 0 available, and definitely won't have 4 or 5 available. You can only have 13 on scholarship.
Martin said last week that he wasn't sure if we would bring him back this season or not. He said nothing about next year. There was room for both ways in his comments. I would like to know what he did tbh. Interesting situation for sure.
Great call.
