New Braunfels and Gruene are really cool.

Rockwall is not. Plano is a concrete jungle full of CVS's and Nail Salons.

But you know whatever floats your boat.

Yeah I can't deal with Houston or Dallas traffic..TX does have some nice cities though
some of my faves that I have worked in
The Woodlands
Rockwall
San Antonio
New Braunfels
Plano
Always said if I could live anywhere else than east tn, it would be San Antonio. Love that place.

Agreed on Rockwall, N.B., and Gruene.

Plano has some great restaurants though. In general, the area is a great place to raise a family. I live in Richardson.

If watching it makes you go blind, what does starring in it too much do to your body? Just curious, I had a lot of supporting roles during the late 70's and early 80's during the popularity of the San Francisco bath house craze.

I lived most of my young life in Oak Ridge (otherwise known as Peyton Place), would not wish that on my worst enemy.....:thud:

So living a stones throw from the Clinch river on top of a mountain with a couple of acres of deer filled woods with a view of the Cumberlands and a half hour drive to Neylandis something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy?

Yeah ok. You couldn't pay me enough to trade that for San Antonio where it is 110 everyday and crawling with Spurs fans.

I highly doubt that.
Examples?

The goofball Perry's gone and with all the rain last summer, our lakes are full...and gay marriage...

With Jerry World 2 being built in Frisco, Plano being overrun with Asians and Middle Easterners, and new construction everywhere including the boom around Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony, the northern suburbs of Dallas are a commuter's nightmare. Couple that with the fact its becoming increasingly difficult to be understood anywhere you go as English is not the spoken language of many (Spanish, Chinese, Farsi, Arabic, etc.), I often wonder where I live.

I have lived in the Dallas area for 26 years. It has been a nice place to live, but a lot has changed...and not necessarily for the better. Just a few more years and I can leave the Metroplex behind.

Heed the advise Mr. Daniels. Choose the real UT!

Right there with you big, live right outside oak ridge, good view of windrock five minutes to town but can still have a big bonfire and pee off my porch without a soul seeing me. Love San antonio though all but like you said Spurs fans.

To each his own. However, I do not live in San Antonio, but it is nice..

PS: FYI high today in SA is 62, and since I could not care less about BB that would not bother me.:hi:

Someone didn't get to sit at the cool kids table. Only explanation I can think. This area is beautiful. 4 seasons. Smoky Mountains for camping and hiking. Plenty of areas for hunting. Gatlinburg for skiing. If that's not good enough Boone, NC on the state line showcases Beach and Sugar Mountain. Countless lakes for fishing, jet skiing, or various other water activities. Beautiful women, historical landmarks and sites. And a good group of people that has yet to be polluted with all of the PC nonsense that goes on in other areas. There's a reason you hear the saying, people leave the area to make their money and most of them come back to retire.

Don't forget, I'm here too.
