Not to change the flow here- but Ray Allen and LeBron just punked the Pacers in the 4th quarter. Allen just went off making 3's like they were lay ups. Just exploded wide open a tight game with 7 minutes to go. Ended up a laugher.

Flip over to the duece and watch the lady vols double dip Oklahoma.

You're the first person I've ever heard that actually got hurt by soccer. I've talked to quite a few soccer players. They wouldn't last a second on the football field, except at kicker. They were great kickers.

I did give soccer a real chance. Anytime you see contact its a yellow card. I do have respect for their endurance

One of my best friends was a defensemen that weighed 270. It was funny to see.

Soccer is responsible for more head/brain injuries than any other sport...by far.

Physical med and rehab board study. Before I went into pain mgmt, thought I was going to do traumatic brain injury as a focus. But that whole work 4 days a week without call thing got me. I actually see my kids!! Yay!!

Not a problem! I only watch World Cup but don't follow otherwise. That was more a response to burger in that there is no hitting in soccer.

I don't expect everyone to watch, but I do judge people that can't get excited and pull for their country against other countries! I love seein casual or non fans get caught up in the World Cup. It's an awesome sporting event!

I posted a video of plenty of contact for burger to watch idk if he did. My doc told me the same thing about head injuries as I got 17 stitches at the ER ha

Seems like the only time I can get interested in it is at the World Cup, when it becomes a patriotic thing

That's 100% okay with me. I don't care about bobsledding or luge except for 3 days every 4 years... Then I'm cheering like crazy, it's not about the sport it's about America being better than everyone else. Even when we aren't.

Ha, way to go!

I am PM&R too.

Musculoskeletal and pain management. Partner in a large orthopedic group.

I take call because my partner handles all the inpatient rehab for our group. We share call so only take call really once a month. Not too bad.

I did two years with a neurosurgery group. They stuck full-time inpatient on top of my regular duties after I signed. Then they made bonus a moving target so that it was just out of reach.

I left and joined an orthopedics practice with an established pain department. Three years later after retirement of two partners I'm the head of the department with three junior partners.

Life is funny and I'll never forget how those guys treated me. I am always sure I treat my coworkers and an honorable way. But I feel like I have the best job in the world.

Thank you fellow vets. Proud to live in a free nation where my son and I can take in God's creation.
