Public restrooms will be defiled for generations to come.

I first started doing this a few years ago after I backed out a log that got wedged in the hole. Would not break when I would flush. After the third flush I just started laughing in the stall. The rest was history.

You should consider eating more fiber OR carrying a paint mixer around in your back pocket.

It is more than being asked to tolerate it. We are supposed to agree with it or we are labeled as bigots. I don't hate anyone, but there are lots of things I don't agree with and will never believe are appropriate. The left would label me a bigot for my failure to approve of those things I disagree with, but disagreeing with what I believe is not viewed in the same light by those same leftists.

Many can't distinguish dislike or hatred of a behavior from dislike or hatred of a person.

OK, it cycled off from the 30 minute timer & not from a t'stat cycle. Forget the humming contact block mentioned earlier. After thinking about it, it won't tell what I thought it would.
Give it a few more days & see what happens. 3 things will definitely happen if the element is bad.
1) the water temp will drop
2) when this happens, it will call for heat & pump should turn on to cycle
3) pump will not turn off because the water can't get up to temp

If it's the element & you want to change it, I can help you with it if needed. Someone as yourself that knows how to use a multi meter should have the skills to change a hot tub heating element. It's not hard, but there's some other parts associated with the element that will need to be inspected while "you're in there".
Keep me updated

Update.... the tub will maintain set temp with the top on and while we use it on high speed. If we leave the cover off on low, it will lose temp. My son took the cover off about 2:00 thus afternoon and forgot to cover it back up. It has fallen down to 97°. I think the motor is capable of getting and keeping the tub hot with the cover on but can't keep up when the heat can escape. I think the element must be bad. Your thoughts?

Edit: I had ordered a new element that arrived today. I ordered a 5.5KW. when I took the other out it was a 4.5KW. I replaced it anyway. Is that a problem? According to my math that's a little over 4 amps more.

I'm filling it back up now. Dad blame slice valves didn't hold.

You hit the "quote" button and then type in a response. When your finished hit "summit reply". Its really not that difficult.

It must be that high level wit and intelligence that allows you to relate and compels you to argue with D4H. Keep it up, soldier.

Well, crap. Now I’M responding to a nut.
