I swore I wouldn't get involved because I zero interest in demeaning anyone's beliefs and am 100% against infringing on the faithfuls rights. Or forcing limitations on their speech or practices.
But to be born in 1974 and grow up in East Tennessee as non believer, it was just too much to read how hard it is to suffer the injustice of being the overwhelming majority. 😌

I don’t think anyone is saying what you said in your last sentence. In fact, I said we have it easy here. This isn’t true for the rest of the world tho where being a Christian in a lot of places is illegal. What has been said on here is that the way things are going that things will get worse in America. And I believe they will.

But nobody is being put on trial for their religious beliefs. Being asked to tolerate people with beliefs/lifestyles you disagree with isn’t a lot to ask.

It is more than being asked to tolerate it. We are supposed to agree with it or we are labeled as bigots. I don't hate anyone, but there are lots of things I don't agree with and will never believe are appropriate. The left would label me a bigot for my failure to approve of those things I disagree with, but disagreeing with what I believe is not viewed in the same light by those same leftists.

Also, still believe you are describing a very familiar scenario for many like me. Just replace bigot with heathen and leftists with Christians.

Just in general I’m against it. If I have to explain why then there’s no sense in having the convo.

For the record I don’t get hung up on it cause I don’t let my kids go to sketchy bathrooms by themselves and I plan to equip them with how to handle situations. In this case I was asked my opinion and said I’m not for penis in the girls bathroom.

It’s not nearly that bad. All people expect from you is to not tell them about how they’re going to hell. It all comes down to whether or not you can state your opinion without sounding like a jack***. If you can manage that, you’d be fine in your hypothetical here.

Lefties love to defend Islam nowadays and they have plenty of outdated views. But if one comes out talking all “allah will burn the homosexuals in the next life,” then of course there’s gonna be backlash.

Muslim countries regularly torture and execute homosexuals. Yet the lefties love to defend them. With the exception of a few fringe nutsos that hide behind the Christianity wall, Christians don't execute people for being homosexual. I don't agree with the way some churches approach issues like homosexuality. As a Christian I believe you are supposed to offer all the same love that God gives you. My sin is no more or less tham any other sin. Yes I think homosexuality is a sin, but I'm not gonna start executing folks like the Muslim countries do. Yet the left supports the Muslims and thinks Christians are bigots. The hypocrisy is scary.

It's ridiculous. If a man follows a woman I'm close to in the bathroom, and I hear anything strange going on, he's about to get his head shoved in the toilet a few times. Idk what this world is coming to with some of this stuff.

I lost track of the story, but weren't they allowing this very thing in NC. They were at least considering it. If it is being considered then it is no longer a hypothetical in my book. I'm not going to wait around for them to allow pervs in women's restrooms with my wife and daughters. Once they allow it, it is that much more difficult to reverse.
