I recall some in the media trying to make out Kobe as better than Jordan or at least trying to make a debate out of it. Kobe could score like Jordan, but he couldn’t do all the other things as well. Also, he had to share the spotlight with Shaq’s accomplishments; something Pippen never forced.

As the luster of the moment passed, objectivity shows that Jordan was clearly better than Kobe.

Here we have the same type of arguments with Lebron. I will say that Lebron is more complete than Kobe, but he can’t compete with the individual level of accomplishments and heights that were reached by Jordan in his prime. Jordan’s height of performance was clearly above Lebron’s peak.
