More than likely. MLB draft isn't quite as prestigious as the NLF or NBA draft. Its mostly an exercise in throwing spaghetti against the wall and seeing what sticks. 15 and 16 year old kids in the Dominican and Haiti get drafted pretty frequently every year.

or Poop against the wall if you're the Marlins.

We are getting way off topic now, but something I noticed today; the Dodgers have the 3rd highest payroll in MLB while the Marlins have the 7th lowest...not to mention they traded away their best talent save for Realmuto. Yet, both teams set at the bottom of their respective divisions with identical 2nd worst records in the NL.

Someone isn't getting their money's worth. Dodgers have dealt with injuries to Kershaw, Turner, and now Seager, but that is bad.

His letter to Scroggins was just ......

Quote:
Dear Jesse,

I know you are struggling with your decision. I just want you to know I wish you well wherever you play, but my heart will break for you if you announce Trojan. We love you in Tennessee. You would be our hero....

But I watch you and I think you do what it is you do as good as it's ever been done.....

We love Lane Kiffin and the brass he has brought to this battle....

But most of us will love you and want well for you. That's just the kind of people that live here in Tennessee. I'm sure your mom's family knows something about that.....

I hope I see you on campus sometime so I can shake the hand of a man that is getting set to play big time NFL ball. You got it in you, bro, you just have to take advantage of all your opportunities. Work your hardest whatever it is you are doing. At Tennessee You will get first team reps your freshman year and there is a real possibility of winning that starting QB job. The longer you do it at a high level, the better your chances are for the millions that come with playing at the next level. We love you Jesse.

LOL never gets old.

Incredibly gay

And he won every game since no one would touch him.

His picture floated around here for a while too.

Hard to imagine anyone could ever get to the point that they could rationalize a letter like that could ever be deemed “ok” to send to a complete stranger. Especially one that was underage.

I think it's worth noting that Kershaw and Turner are 47mil towards their cap. Seager is 600k, but still worth noting when comparing production to payroll.

agreed on the Dodgers. They've wasted money like no ones business. The Marlins simply dont spend it. Fan favorite in Miami? lol ok bye.

Fair point, but the rest of their roster isn't 2nd worst record in the league type bad, either.

That's because the "fans" in fan favorite are the 46 that actual attend their games.

The city of Miami hasn't had a reason to sit through inflated ticket prices and massively inflated concessions for less than mediocre product.

I was a Marlin fan until Jeter pulled the crap he did by cleaning house of the good players for nothing and having the audacity to demand people to come watch. Seems like the franchise is trash as a rule.
