Nice read on JG. His parents now live in ATL and that him being able to possibly play in front of family in his first start next year is driving him this offseason. Really excited about this QB battle this spring. Going to be fun to watch in the spring game.

If he wins the job, we assume Dormady transfers right? Any chance CBJ pitches it to Sheriron as Guarantano will be gone in 2 years and he takes over as a 5th year SR? Would really be bad if they both transferred.

Doubtful. Probably more to do with the insinuation that this was a mediocre class.

If your right he has more problems than I even believe.

We are getting hammered right now. CBS, Finebaum, Gridiorn Now, AL.com, Bleacher Report, 247, Tennesseean, Fox Sports Knoxville and others are all trashing Butch over the 5 star heart comment. This sucks

Letting them battle it out in spring and fall camp before naming a starter creates more competition and that way if one does transfer it probably wouldn't be until after next fall. IMO Dormady would transfer if he loses, but who knows. Hope not.

And I love Sherirons fire but I have no idea if he will ever get a legit shot.

Im am surprised anyone cares what the media says or does anymore. It only paints perception for the ignorant masses. It will give this class a chip on their shoulder and hopefully CBJ too.

Good. Maybe next time he'll think before saying more asinine bull****. I doubt it though. If he was even remotely likeable, his comments wouldn't be so obnoxious but the fact that he is essentially clichebot 3000 with no real public persona for people to identify with just makes him seem like an out of touch moron.

They are all immature children. Players and other people don't care about this at all. The media tearing in to us is fine, won't hurt anything. And I'm sure no coach will ever use it against as ammo to highly impressionable recruits.

Just poor choice of words. Media waits on him to say stuff like this because he's a cliche machine. Doesn't matter how he meant it to them
