IMO most of the disappointment comes from how hyped up this 2017 class was all last year. It was wait till you see this class etc. it set expectations to be a historic class. So compared to what we thought would be amazing on paper looks like a disaster. If you take away the high expectations it's a solid class. The problem was we all were told it would be Elite. So it seems worse than it really is. The ole it never as good as it seem and never as bad as it seems saying fits well here

GFW good to see you back- we appreciate all your info. Do you feel like we are still in on some stud players for this class or do the wheels seem to be coming off the wagon? Many of us are freaking out trying to figure out what is wrong with recruiting right now. Missing on so many targets and many of them leaning to other schools right now- it's hard to maintain positive thinking. Your thoughts?

I doubt I could ever ignore a recruit's thread. You never know what could transpire. Random FF style threads are another story though.

beechiness.
Like a boiler developing a minor crack, they just exploded.

I agree. This forum is as negative as I have seen it since the tail end of the Dooley years. So odd since we are likely a preseason top 10 team.

I shudder to think what this place will be like if we slip up against VT or UF.

I will put the entire website on ignore.

I ignored the Drew Richmond thread that year and then jumped back in mid January. No harm no foul. I don't think you get any extra points for reading all the bad parts.

Doesn't bother me to do it. If anything changes with said recruit it will show up in here. Then I just take it off ignore and go to the last page.

It gets much worse on here and I will be too. Have already thought about it and am not spending nearly as much time on here anymore.

3 days until practice guys and gals! I'm tired of all the pissin' and moanin' around here! Team 120 has an opportunity to be historically good this year. It's about time we get back on the Big Orange Train! Go Vols!

Truth. Sometimes getting on here is as bad as catching up on work emails. You'd never know we're actually poised for the first double-digit win season in nearly a decade...
