That’s not realistic though…. You really need 3 QBs spread apart so they see an avenue to eventually play if they will leave…. If we bring in a qb then we will be losing one at a minimum and possibly 2.

It’s a tough spot but I think if they can upgrade over Milton the coaches will do so for a guy that can win in 2023. Otherwise the path is probably to accept 2023 as a transitional year, start Milton for a few games, then make the move to Tayven or Nico about halfway through the season and just build for the future.

Milton is a nice player with a cannon arm, but he has no touch and at this point I doubt it will improve.

I think the staff feels they can win with Milton…. If he doesn’t get it done then move to Jackson or Nico…. Heup always has a solid qb position…… it may take a few games to figure it out.

Think the QB issue will be tabled until the spring window unless CJH gets an opp he can't pass up. I'm sure everybody will be evaluating Milton and Nico during bowl practice-- including TJ. The coaches really want portal players with multiple years of eligibility, which makes getting a top QB challenging with our QB room. TJ could explore options if it looks like it's a Milton-Nico competition. His injury has been very unfortunate, but no one has run away with the job.

Have you guys ever thought that even when Milton overthrows receivers, CBs have to respect that arm causing them to sit deep opening YUGE running lanes for the RBs
Yep. When they see a ball soar 70+ yards they realize quickly they better play off the line a bit more. Especially when they know they don't run a 4.3 and most of our WR's run 4.4 or better. Opens up the run and screen game. With my 4.7 I would have to play 25 yards off the line. I would look like a cover 4 safety on our WR's.

He's a Tennessee fan trapped in USCe's coach's body? He's certainly got the Twitter pettiness game down pat! 😂
He and Kiffin use twitter and other social media outlets hoping to keep their names relevant. Basically, it's little man syndrome
