Not really. They rent a second home in Cincinnati because their youngest kid transferred to HS there and they have two kids at OSU. But their main residence is still Nashville.

What are the Tennessee laws pertaining to extradition? Persona non grata deportation from the state? Excommunication from Volunteer territory? Felony intent to harm all VFLs? That would make him a serial offender and carry a much higher penalty…

Surely there’s a legal precedent to remove this stain from the Volunteer state…

Significantly increasing his real estate taxes? An annual 300% taxation of current property value should just about do it.

Chase is gonna be good

For context, Buc-ees is a Texas icon.

It’s a gas station, truck stop, Walmart, souvenir shop, renaissance festival, gathering place all rolled into 1. You can get local chili, sausages, dried meats, tacos, bbq, rubs, Christmas ornaments, beach gear, turkey legs, bags of ice. It’s like the DMZ, where everyone everywhere takes a pit stop and the fighting stops. Heck even realists and optimists can let the debate over coffee without keyboard wars.

These suckers are yuge. And in the middle of nowhere. The one in New Braunfels has 120 fueling stations, 1,000 parking spots, 80+ toilets, 80+ soda dispensers, 30 cash registers.. Katy location has a 225 foot long car wash station. Even with all these humans around after loading up on aforementioned fluids and tacos during their road-trips, the restrooms are renowned to be immaculate.

It is good money, but man you will have to earn it.

There’s actually a relatively small Buc-ees near Texas Motor Speedway about 15 miles from my house. I wonder if they would open an onsite urgent care clinic…it would make a bundle 🤔.

Recruiting question:

Exactly how many transfers can we bring in this year? NCAA has ruled that transfers count against your 25-man limit class unless you're replacing players who have transferred out... in which case that is capped at 7.

I also can't find where our scholarship numbers are outside of "reduced" in order to self-punish for Pruitt.

So basically how many more can we take in the '23 class and how many of those can be transfers? Sorry for dumb, but dumb.

32. 25+7=32

Hendon Hooker gone & maybe the best season by a wide receiver in WRU history…. If you’re Hyatt, you’re going pro. No offense but I don’t think I want to hitch my wagon to Joe Milton and a green Nico.

*Jalin if you’re reading this, prove me an idiot!!!

Agreed, Milton is nice but not enough to keep Hyatt out of the draft imo. If we have an opportunity to get a very nice one year QB in the portal I bet we take it.

the problem with that is, a QB that's got a year left isn't looking to go to a school in need of more competition in the QB room. i do think it would be nice to have another one. Joe, Tayven and Nico, is a lot of name power, but not a ton of experience obviously. though i will say, i think this off season is important for Jackson, assuming he does not transfer. for him specifically, he has to know he's in the mix, and very well could be called upon at any given time. be interesting to see if Milton has/creates/builds a similar relationship with him, as Hooker and him developed, not that they need to be roommates and best friends or anything, but that same type of "us" mentality. i don't know they don't have a good relationship or anything, just going off how much hooker's and milton's relationhip was talked about.

We have three potentially good options…. Milton, Jackson, and Nico…. We also have them spread apart pretty good…. I would go with what we have unless a Drake Maye type of qb wanted to come here.

Random but just watched Christmas Chronicles II with my kids last night and Kurt Russell is easily my favorite Santa movie character.

I think we would want 4 scholarship QBs now especially after losing 2 to injury this year. It’s possible we could bring in someone who thinks they can beat out Milton for a season while we sell that Tayven and Nico are developing.

It’s just so different now with the portal. You risk running a player off who could help you win later, like Tayven, in order to bring in a guy who could help you win now. I just don’t think Milton is the answer if we want to win more than 8 games.

I think so too. It would be worth bringing in a guy like Maye if he’s interested.

That’s not realistic though…. You really need 3 QBs spread apart so they see an avenue to eventually play if they will leave…. If we bring in a qb then we will be losing one at a minimum and possibly 2.
