Ours are 21 months apart. It will be hard in the beginning, mainly due to sleep deprivation. But it gets much easier, quickly.Parents of VN, y'all got any advice for going from one kid to two? My wife is due any day now. Our son just turned 2 about a month ago.
Both were pretty wild. And couldn’t convert two 4th downs inside Mizzou’s 35 yard line.

nope. we're currently pregnant with our 2nd. we have a 3 yr old. could probably use some of the same advice
You’re 4 months ahead of me but I’ll be reading the advice as well so thanks for asking. Got a 16 month old and wife is expecting in March. Two kids under 2![]()
Having our first in January (due date), I’m excited, nervous and happy. So any advice is welcomed.
I want to be able to snow ski, waterski and wakeboard into my 80s if I choose to. I realized as I approached my 60th birthday that I had been overweight (for me, too high body fat %, not enough lean body mass). I have decided that I am leaving my fat 50s behind.
Body weight squats have been a great way for me to lose weight, gain leg strength and endurance without endangering my back. Back surgery in 1992.
Body weight squats allowed me to get in shape for a 60+ mile hiking trip in the mountains of New Mexico at the Philmont Boy Scout High Adventure Camp (with a 60 lb backpack). I did squats then with my backpack at 50 lbs. and body weight only. (Age 57.)
I have a rowing machine that I am addicted to as well.
I lift weights for upper body, but not as often as I want to.
I will not go gently into my older years. I’m going to fight, and play, and enjoy as much as I can. I have partners that tell me that they are getting too old to do the things that I do. They are all 10 years or more younger than I am! Giving up and giving in like that is how you age gracelessly. I just laugh at them. They want to fade away, fine for them. No way in Hell is that gonna happen to me. You act OLD, you get OLD.
Eff that noise.

When I was a child, I remember my mother telling me not to come out of my room until the clock read “seven oh oh”. She was brilliant with that.
I have my first due in a matter of weeks. 12/20 is the due date. Fiancé still wants to go to the game this weekend since we only live an hour away. Haven’t been to a home game because of the hills she’d have to walk, but Columbia is flat. Still concerning to me, but who knows when we’ll be able to go back to a game once the baby is here.
There have been plenty off topic conversations in this thread and it’s not really a big deal…These are amazing Vol children they’re discussing..I enjoy it personally.Paging @Freak... someone has hijacked your recruiting forum thread and redirected it to a Pinterest "how to raise infants" forum.

for the first time since I was a student we have a coach that clearly knows what he is doing. After countless raises and extensions for nothing, why even argue that Huepel doesn’t deserve all the money we can give for this incredible year. If there’s anyone who deserves us to jimbo them it’s Huepel. He’s worked a legit miracle.Personally, I suspect they've loaded his contract with performance incentives which is fine. Like you pointed out, there's no sense to create a Jimbo/aTm type situation. Knee jerk business decisions rarely turn out well.
Anyone else disappointed in the Yellowstone season premiere?

Great movie, great quote. I got in a lot of fights when I was younger, often over stupid ****. But I think telling boys that they can’t fight and treating them like women contributes to this. Boys need an outlet for their aggression. If they pent all of it up for so long, it’ll explode in dangerous ways.damn man

CJS - 34 total TDs and 4 INTs. 2,833 total yards
HH - 29 total TDs and 2 INTs. 3,293 total yards
Now consider SoS and big wins...
Jmo but Stroud needs a huge game vs Michigan. He needs a signature win.
HH is about to put up some huge stats vs the 2 worst SEC defenses. Really hope we let HH get all the tuddies. He could easily get 15 more TDs if we let him take them. People seeing him get 7-8 total TDs/game could make a hig swing imo
