For what it's worth in regards to rushing.

Wright is 9th in SEC in carries, Small is 10th. Only 2 RBs in the SEC are over 1k on the season. Judkins 205 carries for 1171 & Sanders 185 carries for 1147. We're the only team in the SEC with 2 RBs in the top 10 for carries. However neither of our RBs average 5.0 YPC or more.
Small is 6th in rushing TDs, Wright is 8th.

So honestly it's a running back by committee approach and it works well for us with the guys we have, my only frustration is that Small & Wright have a combined 14 receptions on the season. I think utilizing the RB more in the passing game could help in pass protection (cause teams I'm sure are wise to the fact that if the RB isn't handed the ball he's likely not getting it thrown to him either).

So, it's subjective just like a PI penalty? I don't see how addressing that rule hurts us. I hardly ever see us substituting that late. I wondered if Small realized he was banged up and asked the coaches to come out.
CJH should have called a timeout in that situation. It's not like we usually need them anyways.

In 2019 we played 5 conference games on SECN. 3 on ESPN. 0 on CBS.

In 2022 we will have played 1 conference game on SECN. 3 on ESPN. 4 on CBS.

If it wasn't for Vandy being an embarrassing program we likely wouldn't have played a single conference game on SEC Network this season. Even UGA has played 2.

Insane what being good at UT can do.

Question for the group.
Vols finish 11-1, make playoffs.
How much is CJH salary next year?
I’ll open bidding at 9 million. What you all think?

Until he has a more established pattern of winning big, I'm ok with the salary staying lower than other SEC coaches with more established records, but I would heavily load the contract with performance based incentives. If he performs at a top 5 level he makes top 5 money, and then after he's performed well for a couple more years, I'd shift the contract toward guaranteed money.

Write him in a huge bonus and don't yet sign us up for any potential Jimbo future.
Personally, I suspect they've loaded his contract with performance incentives which is fine. Like you pointed out, there's no sense to create a Jimbo/aTm type situation. Knee jerk business decisions rarely turn out well.

Last home game of the season!! Everybody should make an effort to watch this team one more time inside the comfort of our own stadium. Tickets are relatively cheap too.

They were relatively cheap. They jumped up to $120+ weeks ago. Still cheaper than Neyland tickets this year but that’s fairly expensive for FirstBank. I’ll still probably go but im gonna watch the price on Gametime app and see if I can get them cheaper leading up to the game day.

I liked it. Tried to go into it with low expectations. Worked. @Glitch ✋🏻

I don't watch Yellowstone. I tried the first season but it contained too much stuff that I prefer not to partake in my entertainment. I wouldn't want my kids watching it, so what is good for the goslings...

Anyone else disappointed in the Yellowstone season premiere?
A lot of people online aren't happy with it. I liked it though. It should be a good season, but the story line is probably simar to past seasons. They had to skip some time, and I'm not sure everything fit because of that, but it didn't bother me personally.

I liked it, too. Carter showed up looking like a young man. That’s bizarre. Cast said as much.. like who is this guy? Never seen a kid change so much on a year. Tate too…. He’s an awkward actor. I like the Beth-Jamie drama and with him so proximate to each other this season, it will make for some good quips.

For what it's worth, assuming the Committee uses some level of metrics to grade us for their rankings, here are some updates from week 10 to week 11, among the top 10 teams. Per my own rankings:

Offensive Rating (Based on Offensive PPG):

Defensive Rating (Based on Defensive PPG):
1668450514470.png
Strength of Schedule (excluding W/L that we caused):

Opponents' Strength of Schedule:

My composite ranking (W/L ranking also factors into this:

I show a lot of separation between the top 5 and the next 4, which are all very close together. I show LSU a full tier below those, in 10th. Their offensive and defensive rating just aren't as good as their peers. The only thing they have going for them is the same SOS as UT.
