Honestly not too worried about the Bama game. I think Clemson losing is HUGE for us. As much as I hate to admit how good UGA is, I just don’t see Bama beating them. I still hope they lose tonight though. I also think Texas has a good chance of beating TCU, which will all but guarantee our spot as long as we take care of business.

Georgia had not blitzed at all this year. They took the last two weeks of practice (plus they worked on it specifically in the offseason unless you think they are lying) to install a defensive package specifically designed for us, and could get aeay with it because Florida has absolutely quit and Kirby knew it.

We had no such luxury of extra preparation time for Georgia. I also seriously doubt that Heupel and Golesh thought Kirby would do so much differently specifically for us that they have not shown all year. It was an oversight, but I don't think it ever happens again.

I give Kirby credit for this...he knew we were their competition this year.

So now you’re admitting we were out coached?

They blitzed but it wasn’t even that often, lot of pressure came from the coverage and receivers not getting open quick

After watching again, I’m most disappointed that we never adjusted on O. We kept the same plan even when it wasn’t working. Kind of odd and underprepared.

That’s not true at all…. Defense gave up big plays and 24 first half points…. Line struggled…backs struggled in pass protection…. Didn’t field a punt… running into the punt returner… not the best playcalling…. There is enough blame to go around…Georgia didn’t score much in the second half bc they were trying to slow it down…. Just forget about it and hopefully we play better if we get a rematch.

That first long pass from Bennett was pretty good coverage. The ball was thrown perfect and a darn good catch. Similar (not quite as good but close) to the catch by Keyton in the FL game.

Only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of QB designed runs and screens to neutralize the pass rush. Really surprised we didn’t have more wrinkles for Hooker’s legs. Good news is I think we’ll see these guys again!!
