What is so funny? We held them to 27, got two turnovers. Hendon overthrew 2 definite touchdowns and one maybe to Fant. He missed at least 7 wide open receivers and took at least four sacks that were his fault, including the should be safety. He held on to the ball way to long. He stood in the pocket way too long. That was a terrible decision and pass to Tillman. He made zero reads tonight. He was trash. It’s ok to say this and also agree every other game he has been great. You need to rewatch the game and see how many receivers he should have hit. When we actually threw the ball, we got Hyatt down to the five.

Still have to win the next 3 and look good doing it. We're still going to get everyone's best shot and we have to be ready and focused. That game was hard to watch but I'd still love to get another shot at them in the playoffs. High character guys like #5 learn from games like that.

This^, and Stroud's Heisman campaign was hurt way more than Hendon's. Stroud got outperformed by the 2nd QB on a 1-8 team in bad conditions.

Bru and Fant both were pretty good balls. Just he's used to throwing to faster guys and the timing was off just enough.

Hyatt slowed his route otherwise that's a completion, and the Tillman ball was just a damn good play by Ringo.


Just need to see the team blow Missouri out of the water. Don't let this game derail the season and a legit shot to be 11-1 and in the CFP discussion.

Not even close to accurate. The team did more than enough. Hooker absolutely cost us the game.

That’s not true at all…. Defense gave up big plays and 24 first half points…. Line struggled…backs struggled in pass protection…. Didn’t field a punt… running into the punt returner… not the best playcalling…. There is enough blame to go around…Georgia didn’t score much in the second half bc they were trying to slow it down…. Just forget about it and hopefully we play better if we get a rematch.

Honestly really shocked at the lack of adjustments to blitzes… I thought they would save some stuff for this game. Nothing pretty but some blitz beaters and some hole shots 6-10 yards… nothing… the had the same slot blitz called 3 times and the same result every time… screen to RB or a TE hook?

TCU has had to come from behind, including today about 5 games this season to unranked opponents.. it's not strong.

100% true though, was a different beast. Seeing their 3rd and 4th guys still with enough talent to beat our guys was probably humbling.

My main frustration from the game was that UGA played to take away the deep ball most of the game and often left the middle of the field wide open for slants. Hooker didn't seem to have any quick options when they blitzed. It was like the offense was stubbornly trying to do what they want to do instead of taking what's there. Hooker had a rough game and I think the offense didn't adjust well to what UGA was doing. Learn from it and be ready for a decent defense in Mizzou to try the same game plan. Get smarter, work harder, finish the regular season strong, and hopefully get another shot at UGA in the playoffs.

You got to play perfect to beat a team like Georgia at home and Tennessee was far from perfect. It is what it is. Regroup and win out. Love this team.

Today showed a gritty team that made mistakes in a hostile road environment against a team with stacked, elite talent on defense. They fought and made it a 14 point game in the end. It wasn't pretty, but they didn't give up.

It's remarkable what this team and coaching staff has done in less than two years. Today doesn't change that. We have a real shot at going 11-1 in the regular season with wins over Alabama and Florida...in year 2 of this staff...after a huge chunk of the roster transferred during a coaching change as the NCAA was investigating the program.

Enjoy this season. I'm proud of this team, staff, and their accomplishments. I'm proud of these Vols. This team has a lot to play for this year, and beyond that, the future looks bright.

I hate this...I hope we get back to get another shot at some point. We had several guys pick the absolute worst time to have their worst game.

I hate that we are going to be a joke to everyone again...sickening.
