glad we didn't. no guarantee he gets eligible and always a risk with perceived "culturally doesn't fit" types.Wish we went after him
Yeah, I'm familiar with Catbone. @Catbone, you still making music? He's just our lovable Eeyore. Read the posts with an Eeyore voice, and it will all make sense lol.
For the love of God....He did not quit because he was moved to guard. He played guard most of last season. He knew he would be in the rotation at either guard or tackle this season and was absolutely not worried about playing time. He has been dealing with back issues since Spring, and several concussions before that. No, I am not his mother nor his father. No, I am not Nathan as some one on here suggested. Yes, I do know him very well. His back pain was not “minor”. He has had multiple treatments and therapies with no resolution. He feels like his body has had enough, and he decided to leave the game of football. It’s that simple. He’s not transferring to play elsewhere, and plans to finish his degree in criminal justice. He quit. He wasn't injured in practice and he was medically cleared to play. He'd been managing minor pain, but after Tuesday's practice, he told the coaches he was done. It was right after they moved him to guard and he realized he was going to fall down the depth chart. Sounds like he didn't want to deal with the grind if he wasn't going to be a starter... or put in the work to stay in the 2-deep.
Sorry bud but the 62 year olds who have never even remotely experienced a down of football typing behind a computer told he's a quitter case closedFor the love of God....He did not quit because he was moved to guard.
