Taking my 3 year old son to his first game Aug 31st. He’s got a new Peyton Jersey he’s wearing. He keeps asking me every day if it’s time to go ride the bus (Kat bus he remembers from orange and white game) and go to the big field with all the numbers on it. There’s nothing like stepping through that tunnel and seeing the field below. I told myself not to get excited but seeing his excitement already has me sucked back in. In a 3-4 I think you can mask inexperience on the defensive line. It’ll hurt, no doubt. But hopefully at the very least they can fill their gaps.

yep. they have the size to do that. LB's gonna have a lotta of opportunity to make plays...hopefully.

but you're right, the 3 down, they don't have to be great. they just have to be able to allow the LB's to work......if they can do that, we'll be serviceable on defense.

Yes it is.. They are so strange home hurt worse than others. Had a few that brought tears to my eyes and actually hollering at nurses to hurry with the shot and I hated being like that to a nurse. Normally I'm very laid back and most of all respectful..

The thing that could help an inexperienced D-Line (which we have) is an experienced and talented secondary (which we also have). If the DB’s can give the DL just another second it might mean the difference in a pressure and a sack.

Eh, they tried to force the ball to Preston Williams early in 2015. His fumble in the red zone against Arkansas was a play that could have cost us the game.

App St in 2016 too in the end zone. He needed a different coach and environment. It felt like he was more interested in modeling than getting better on the field under Butch.
