I wish someone would sue the SEC over its poor officiating and during discovery, ask for any and all memoranda pertaining to Steve Shaw’s communication or the league office communication to officials.

NCAA investigated the recruiting violations. Punished OM a little more and gave out a few show causes to some assistants. The escort stuff on Freeze was not NCAA related but a fireable offense.

I hope that’s the case and I’m wrong about that. I just know how coaches and agents especially like to talk. If there was someone that is “95% done” or whatever. I feel like they would be a tiny fraction of information about it somewhere. TN has a million people covering it and a lot of damn good reporters with a lot of sources. I feel like someone would know something.

I'm running with it. The normal characters dont seem to have many answers even when names have been put out there. They re not getting much in the way of details and appear to be filling in the holes with speculation.

I dont understand why Phil would think a ruse would be a good idea and why Matthews would think it a good idea to put himself out there with his audience.

On the subject of Propst, the can’t hire a HS coach in an off-field position if a recruit played under him within two years(?) is garbage. Or sign a recruit if his coach is an Off-field role before he signs. It makes it even harder for a HS coach to break into the P5 level. Going to position coach or coordinator is very rare. Going to analyst, GA, ect at a P5 school is such a good job if you have goals of coaching at a high level. I can understand family member tho

Well the only thing tha DM really said that could be proven wrong is “Sec experience” (i think). Saying it’s 95% done is no different than saying it’s 10% or 50% done. So i think it’s honestly pretty safe for DM.

And i don’t disagree that’s it’s a dangerous thing for fulmer, i just think it’s more believable then the latter.

It was reported by one of the guys that two interviews were completed on the coach that was top man in his home state. I think that is around the time the 95% done statement came out.

By the way Hank have you heard Sarkisian's name at least being mentioned? At this point I would be happy with Sark. He's had proven play calling success at the college level. I know he has detractors but Tennessee could do alot worse at this point.
