We are definitely on the same page on this searchOh i know that wasn’t directed at you. I just think it’s honestly laughable that this is all part of some master plan that we interviewed a handful of candidates while the whole time we got this secret mystery person behind door #1 who we are just waiting to announce.
I’m talking about the Helton quote. Was it not you who said that Helton was treating his time here very well when asked? Maybe @LA Vol but someone said itIn terms of winning they are better. I do think Pruitt has a lot more job security with fulmer than Taggart does down there. I think that’s what we were talking about before. I think KB also has a good chance to be HC there if taggert gets fired. They already demanded he make staff changes. That’s never a good sign for a HC. But program wise and recruiting better and winning, FSU is an “easier” job i would say.
Matthews explained that today. He said Fulmer did this all the time, he would know since he coached with him. He said you interview guys to learn and gather information. Notice that Pruitt didn’t offer the job to any of themOh i know that wasn’t directed at you. I know Doug and Phil are very close, good friends who coached together and had a radio show on for 2+ years called Coach to Coach that they spent each week talking UT football and all things sec. Phil left the show when he took over the AD job. Doug now has coach McGinness on with him. You can choose to believe or not, but I bet he knows and hears more about UT athletics than you ever will or think you know.Lol.
I’m not sure that was me. I was talking about Helton not being happy here a couple times.I’m talking about the Helton quote. Was it not you who said that Helton was treating his time here very well when asked? Maybe @LA Vol but someone said it

DM might know something. But he doesn’t know the truth here. Just doesn’t. No one does. There is no “95% certain but not saying a name we’re just waiting” person. Even if Fulmer gave him that quote directly, it means nothing.I know Doug and Phil are very close, good friends who coached together and had a radio show on for 2+ years called Coach to Coach that they spent each week talking UT football and all things sec. But I think your point that you were trying to make is that they look at who they have hired and think that he’s so bad that they want to wait to announce for fear it will turn recruits away. If you think your hire is that bad, you probably need to reevaluate it.Either way it's manipulation for recruiting purposes
