Very possible you're correct if Pruitt does indeed already have his guy.

So you think it could really happen, or maybe as an analyst? That's kind of scary to me. Much rather have a proven play caller already in the College ranks.

In terms of winning they are better. I do think Pruitt has a lot more job security with fulmer than Taggart does down there. I think that’s what we were talking about before. I think KB also has a good chance to be HC there if taggert gets fired. They already demanded he make staff changes. That’s never a good sign for a HC. But program wise and recruiting better and winning, FSU is an “easier” job i would say.

Rumors that Pruitt has his guy but waiting to announce due to the new OC is still coaching in a championship game. Chip is from Alabama. I believe he flirted with Bama OC job last year. Maybe Kelly is leaving for the NFL? Rumors and speculation mostly.

Fulmer could have also told him to say that to take fan pressure off of him and Pruitt. If Fulmer and Pruitt already had their man and was just waiting and keeping it a secret(maybe they do maybe they don’t idk)why would he tell Matthews and let him go tell everyone else?
