Pretty sure Percy Harvin was the original one who he had a dream about.
No. He used the Percy Harvin name drop AND the creepy dream account while recruiting at Ohio State. It was for a recruit we were in on...thinking Vonn Bell, but I’m not sure why he’d reference a WR to a DB.

My mom likes to say "we're all bozos on this bus." Everyone has stuff to work through.

I may have gotten a handle on my OCD, but the dean said if I don't shape up and stop wearing chaps to class it's really going to be a mark against me in my tenure file. So I still struggle is what I'm saying.

If you would wear something with them besides a thong, he might overlook it.

I am not concerned about anything physical with JG, he has all he needs and the coaches can fine-tune that. I am concerned about his thinking process. He got killed last season because he did not read the D's and make decisions quickly enough. I realize a leaky O-line helped induced it, but in reality, JG was at fault as much as they were. If he doesn't get that part there is nothing else the coaches can do. Which means we will see KC, who does get that part based on observing past games of his at Stanford. I hope JG steps up and takes control of the job so we have stability at the position for a couple of years.

The past staff was not so good from a teaching standpoint. I believe that JG's football IQ will vastly improve from what we see, which should translate to less sacks and less bad down and distance situations. Just my opinion.

I think wayyy too much is being made about KCs arm strength. It’s becoming one of the most overrated things about a QB. I think like 85% of throws in the nfl last year went less than 15 yards.

You don’t need a cannon to be effective. Kellen Moore was a pie thrower and was an amazing college QB.

Looking back on the last 10 years I'd say CJP has handled the time with less red flags or negative signs than any other coach.

LaneK- his immaturity was obvious and it was obvious disciple was going to be an issue before he coached a game

Dooley- we had already heard the stories of how he had rubbed high school wrong before game 1

Butch- the slogans, the megaphone and coach speak was clearly going to have a short life span.

Honestly I can't think of one thing CJP has done that's a red flag.

Well done

Drew Locke’s in the defend your younger self’s Tweets sweepstakes. From when he was in MIDDLE SCHOOL! Called a friend a British cigarette and issued a fake Geico commercial where he said “Can Geico save you 15% on your insurance? Do black people like Flaming Hot Cheetos?” Not the N-word...a funny sounding and not demeaning stereotype from the family of white people walk and dance funny and don’t season their potato salad. Pray for us.

I’ve put up with a lot of things in my life but I will NOT stand for unseasoned potato salad

Grew up a Bama fan and played there.

Not exactly the same comparison but perhaps informative to your point.

Average Completed Air Yards (CAY) and Average Intended Air Yards (IAY)Air Yards is the vertical yards on a pass attempt at the moment the ball is caught in relation to the line of scrimmage. CAY shows the average Air Yards a passer throws on completions, and IAY shows the average Air Yards a passer throws on all attempts. This metric shows how far the ball is being thrown ‘downfield’. Air Yards is recorded as a negative value when the pass is behind the Line of Scrimmage. Additionally Air Yards is calculated into the back of the end zone to better evaluate the true depth of the pass.

Average Air Yards Differential (AYD) Air Yards Differential is calculated by subtracting the passer’s average Intended Air Yards from his average Completed Air Yards. This stat indicates if he is on average attempting deep passes than he on average completes. Longest Completed Air Distance (LCAD) Air Distance is the amount of yards the ball has traveled on a pass, from the point of release to the point of reception (as the crow flies). Unlike Air Yards, Air Distance measures the actual distance the passer throws the ball.

Air Yards to the Sticks (AYTS) Air Yards to the Sticks shows the amount of Air Yards ahead or behind the first down marker on all attempts for a passer. The metric indicates if the passer is attempting his passes past the 1st down marker, or if he is relying on his skill position players to make yards after catch.

Jimmy’s blog: How much time should Pruitt get to turn Vols around?
August 1, 2018

"I’ve heard several people say Pruitt’s record in his first season should be thrown out the window – that the key is establishing a culture.

Sorry, I don’t buy that either.

If Tennessee, which had far better talent than its 4-8 record last year, goes 4-8 again, then Pruitt and his staff haven’t done a very good job.

And I don’t think the Vol Nation will care about a culture change if UT goes 3-9.

The record matters. It always does."

Poor Jimmy. He’s still upset it wasn’t Brohm like he told the world on ESPN.

This is exactly why I think Chryst gets the nod. Consider the following scenario- 4th quarter...down by 2 to WV...3rd and 3 on WV’s 30 yard line...Guarantano takes a sack for 9 yards...Vols punt...Vols lose game by 2.

With a razor-thin margin, UT just can’t allow something like this. Guarantano’s consistent lack of awareness overshadows his (arguable) higher ceiling.

This is very accurate.

And everybody including me will be beechin about this boring, uncreative and unimaginative three yards and a cloud of dust offense that scores 15 points a game. They better do better than that or the short honeymoon is going to be reeeaaallly short. Old school ball sounds nice and tough now, but when the offense hits the field and it feels like a trip to the dentist for a root canal...everybody will hate it.

I don't really think it will be that way. It better not for all concerned.

Speculative complaining about the future? Come on, UEM. Helton didn't run a boring offense at WKU; that was actually a very prolific offense. USC didn't run a boring offense while he was there. Bama doesn't operate a boring offense. That run offense is designed to set up the vertical passing game for 3 quarters, then pound you into submission in the 4th.

but in the end, if we are scoring 15 a game I will be happy if we hold opponents to 14 a game.

I'm not worried about his arm strength. Just his ability to consistently be accurate on anything more than 7-8 yards downfield.

What a ****ing weirdo. Wonder if God also told him to harbor and lie for a wife beating piece of trash?

Just tells me Tebow was always going to Florida regardless of coach. The Tebow’s were taken back by Meyer’s lack of religious knowledge. He flipped that by telling them he’d learn from Tim and start going to church again. Became a born again Christian instantly.

Looks like we are out with the Smokey gray and back in with black. Welcome to the 90’s fellas.

FWIW: I know some hate the black around the numbers, but I hope it’s on the game jerseys just like the practice ones. Those were the glory days for me and for this University.View attachment 161753
I want one of these. I can’t be the only guy that love Tennessee but doesn’t want to wear and all orange jacket.

I’m in the “Just Win, Baby!” crowd.
